Parents have their heating on rather high to keep them warm. It is like walking into a heat wave lol

Oh sorry to hear about, Rob being over worked. Life can get on top of you before you know it. Wonder if there are any warning signs he was giving off before it got too far so you can spot if it happens again and do something about it. Hope he recovers soon. I think we all share those sentiments, Sue. Clearly this kid (shooter) had mental health issues. Made threatening statements, etc. I say kid. He is 19 - an adult by most legal definitions. I'd say he is also the product of absentee and/or incidental parenting.

It's extremely rare a home robbery ends in death here. But if the robbers know they might come up against guns, they will equip themselves accordingly. Putting death into the equation by having guns just increases the risk of death for both parties

just found out that someone was shot leaving our neighborhood library last nite -- 3 blocks from my house . . . teens in a stolen car -- there's been a number of similar carjackings in this area in the last month -- everyone's in total shock -- this is normally a very "safe" area :_(
I think there should be laws holding gun owners accountable for what happens with there guns -- too many incidents both criminal and accidental happing because kids were able to get their hands on a relative's gun

Bich, not all of Florida is flat, Northern part is very hilly and has four seasons like the north does, like Gainesville where U of F is located.
