Yes, we will! I had to talk him into seeing this new doctor too. He wasn't too keen on new ideas until he got to the point he couldn't do what he wanted to, physically. I hate PD, but I'm glad we got him to the right doctor in time!

It crawled along for 10-12 years and all of a sudden, bam! The medicine didn't work any longer. We have hopes of going back 10 years, but that's the "best case scenario." Even 2 years would be good!

Yes, we are a "unit." He has said that ever since we got together. I'm so glad we found each other. We have our moments, like everyone else, but it's just good to know we hold each other up :)
Yes, DBS in May or June - don't have the exact date yet, the schedule at the hospital is still being worked out.

Poor hubby still hasn't had a chance to talk to anyone who has DBS, only stories from relatives of people who have had both successes and not so good results. I guess it's a crap shoot, but it's a chance we have to take for the future.

kam, the FM is pretty well under control thus far. and the cardiac rehab time in the gym is starting to pay off. i actually am feeling so much better.

kam, i have had to turn around mythinking. as with the FM my muscles are already quivering all the time, i thought exercise would exacrbate the FM.
My tuit has been broken the past couple of weeks...got busy a couple of days ago and have gotten stuff done! And today was the payoff - massage day, and then chiropractor. I feel SO much better!

Nope, the exercise stops the shaky legs. I worked out in the yard after our rains stopped for a couple of days - sore, but good sore. Legs feel stronger the more I use them.

Friends brought me a lovely bouquet on Sun, but it was past its prime. l called the florist yesterday & he brrought me an enormous replacement bouquet: lillies, English roses and alstromeria, all in whitte. lt is magnifique!
Sounds beautiful - and quite right that the florist should replace it with fresh flowers. Cheeky to send flowers past their prime.
