Hello, Flosey. Sorry you got woken up. Hope you will be able to return to slumber land soon :-)
As for me I have just finished my first run through and have 44 words left to find but no nine.
think I'll try to find a few words gitdy
JUst saw a post for the 9 below and found it!
Brings me down to 42 words left.
Good idea, Flosey!
Back later to see if I can find any more words. Happy babbling everyone!

oops, sorry, lazy thumb occasionally drops down on the space bar
Hello, late start for me, busy morning
good morning Ruby
has become a very late night for me!!! 3:05 am - much too late to be up babbling
Hello Flosey, it's just after midday here
And maaybe spring has arrived. There is still frost at night, but the flowers have started and there's sunshine
<-- happy
enjoy the day Ruby, 58 to go but think I'll try to sleep now and find them tomorrow
Bonne nuit!
sense
sorry
Spring, ever the female, being fashionably late to the party. : D
You think?
You think?
Yesterday l picked the sagging daffs so there's Spring in my kitchen
ah - promise of Spring, love to see the daffs
The Sagging Daffs sounds like a British punk rock band
After the nasty storm on Wednesday, they needed to be rinsed of mud. Usually, l leave themin place but they had mostly collapsed
And the tulips are starting
I've seen tulips coming up around here too. Right now we have crocus, hyacinth and daffodils.
oh my!!!! didn't realize how late it is - 3:30 am better get some sleep, bb in the (late) morning tp hopefully finish - 44 to go, good night all
At this moment, spread out in the garden, some planted by God, others by me: pale yellow primroses, violets, dwarf tulips, two hiacinths, two colors of daffs, white allyssum, and, soon, Parrot tulips will open in a day or two.. And the flowering trees are getting ready.
We have a lot of flowering trees around here. And if anyone has had the pleasure of visiting DC when the cherry blossoms are in bloom, you know it is a beautiful experience.
When l was a kid l visited DC once to see them
When I was a kid, there was a street in our neighborhood that had lots of cherry and apple blossoms that all came out at once. We called it "Fairyland" in the Spring. It was gorgeous.
Those are the best memories!
Good morning. What month is it? It is snowing heavily here today and the ground is covered.
This year goes on record as the most depressing Spring ever. I have never had winter clothes out this long.
I did find a picture I posted on Facebook 9 years ago and it was the same.
I think you Canadians are more used to winter lasting this long. It doesn't happen very often 'round these parts.
hello all

I don't have ga 4/11 or the ga6
Hello everyone...TGIF!
hi car
it's a variant of ga5,18 with one xtra consonant in the middle
it actually means the same thing pretty much as ga5,18
thega 5/18 I have is a pt
indeed! the ga4/11 is the present tense
ga6 is pt
then I have the wrong one, mine s ga 4/7 ga 5/18 ga 5/16
like I said, it's a variant of that word
Greetings, one and all.
what does the ga 4/11 end with?
hi judi
mlf you are being lazy.. monkey it

yeah, the other two are the lame ones
yes mool,i got the easy ones that make sense:)
finite.. finally
well I got those one's first too :)
yay ru...you rock!
congrats ruru
I did it tile by tile it went quicker that way
Well done, Ru!
i used to do that...
I have a somewhat arbitrary system I use :)
i vary
Normally start without looking at the stats, and try to get a word on each tile...then once I have 2/3 I start looking at the stats and go after the tiles I have the most left on
At the end I just think really hard, and hope they come to me
Finally I resort to ritual sacrifice and begging
If none of that works, I go find something to do
i start that way too mool but after i try to finish the letters with the least amount of words
mool you have to think?
yeah
It hurts
i thought they all just came naturally to you lol?
ah, yeah...but no
shocking
sorry to let you down ML
oh well i will get over it ...maybe:)
I will be appropriately repentant

ty FW!

I know what it is, I just don't understand why people call it "monkeying"
ugh that should have a double S in it!
not necessarily...
do you ride on buses or busses?
busses! but i should tried it nayway
anyway
molly i think it refers to the theory that if a million monkeys sat typing without stopping for infinite time, they'd eventually type the bible (or some other long book). in this game, if you out your monkeys to work, they'll eventually get the word you need.
or just one monkey...
The infinite monkey theorem states that a monkey hitting keys at random on a typewriter keyboard for an infinite amount of time will almost surely type a given text, such as the complete works of William Shakespeare. (wikipedia)
Yes, it does. It has just been an endless reference here. Just like the made up word "Babblet".
OK, explain "fish"
I suppose it comes from fish slap. So if you missed such an easy word to find you are annoyed with yourself so you say slap me with a fish.
ahh. I have never asked to be slapped with a fish. Would it be snapper?
LOL nothing to big, Kap! maybe a little guppy or stickle back :-)
I have a friend who hates when people say tunafish. Why don't they just say tuna? We don't say salmonfish.
guppyfish? gefilte fish?
bluefishfish?
Puffafish
lutefisk :d
lol
Phish.
:D
Haha! good one :-)
Goldfish.
FIche.
fishsticks
Dr. Fish is my dentist.
I knew an obgyn named Dr. Finger and that is real.
For names that I was wowed was a man I worked with years ago called Mr gotobed.
My husband knew a man Honoroff and if he was a judge he would be Your Honor Honoroff.
There was a guy who applied for high school principal but his name was Woodcock, and I don't think he would have survived.
Lipschitz is bad and so is Fallek.
Schitt's Creek is a funny show.
Had to google that one. Not heard of it here.
But on the surnames I often wonder how people managed to have names like gotobed, honoroff etc.
I once knew a girl whose last name was Offer. Her dad's name was Jack.
LOL oh dear.

A subject on where last names come from for those interested.
For me it is time I retired for the evening. Nice to see you all. Happy babbling everyone!
My dentist is Dr Reamer
My friend's husband had three doctors: Dr. Paine, Dr. Leather, and Dr. Lash....no joke...
He must be into S&M
you would think so, but no....just coincidental....
i am done....
congrats Pen
Anyone there?

thanks! the 2bit house is a bit under the weather, but I am (so far) unscathed

it's a gorgeous autumn/fall day here. bright sunshine, a briskness t the air, hopes for mid-twenties C later.
lovely! we have just hit "peak bloom" for the cherry blossoms here, but expecting cold and blustery weekend that may put the blossoms on the ground
and we are expecting a 30+C early next week. it's gonna be a late winter methinks.
how lovely to see the cherry blossoms. are the trees ornamental or do they bear fruit?
ornamental - most were a gift from the emperor of Japan in the early 20th c. they make a lovely time here in DC
from Don...are you over the jet lag yet? loll
haha yes. took a few days of waking up in the wee hours, but I'm switched back now for sure
did you get the link to the beach photos?
yes we did thanx. thy were lovely, and something, for me at least, to treasure
likewise - St. Kilda's was lovely and I won't forget that cake!
nor the company, of course :-)
lolll. i'm sure you won't. especially as it is probably now attached firmly to certain areas of your body.
of course... the company. it was fun, wasn't it?
it was. I really enjoyed my whole Melbourne visit
am putting your cherry blossom time on my bucket list... loll
brb...
