Very hard. Morning all.

Lo7
Er. Just the one. Sorry.
hello everyone
Hi nan
oh, if we're saying 7s
re7, le7
In that case, st 7 too.
Don't we usually?
eh, it just depends
and wow i just monkeyed that and it is weird and idk how my monkeys even thought of it
co7 and 8
well this is a sad collective lull
stuck here -- not seeing any 8's or 9's
you saw what was called tho right? just can't find the words?
ga
yeah
the in words are normal but they do come from french
and have an ending that reflects that origin
james bond's world is one of in8...
thanks hursh!
found the musical in 7 that comes from french roots, but there is no plural
yeah the 7 is separate from the 8 and 9
ah - ty hurshy
the co7 and 8 that i said are weirder. i THINK they are to do with sex
ty - that was enough of a clue for me
half way -- maybe I'll be brighter in the morning. Good night everyone.
re 9 called?
Just came back
don't see that one liz
Want a clue?
sure
You'll kick yourself! re 8/9 belief system
duh -- going to bed on that note! ty liz
yw - sleep well.
lots of churchy words in this one!
yep, collective kicking of selves
I like the sex words better
Me too :)
two more C's would grey my bottom row AND my right column
I'm still missing loads of words. Not finding this at all easy today.
ooh got one of those c's
Found another church word - thanks, nan
oh pew
Groan!
Apseolutely
here come the church puns... everybody put in your two cents
we all have our crosses to bear liz :D
Star of David for me
Much harder warding off vampires!
altar-natively, you could make synagogue puns
you might not have holy water, but you do have garlic ;)
the more the menorah
I would fail at that too! Useless at it.
Like it!
Can't hold a candle to that one.
idk liz, i think a vampire would be so in8d because it's always seeing crosses, so then it would stop and ask what was up with the star, and you'd have a chat, and it'd be grand
You could be right, hurshy. But if you don't have a star to hand, you try making one with your fingers!
why did the young Jewish man not get to do his reading of scripture? because he Torah hole in it
:)
Taking a break. Not seeing any words. BBL. Good luck
those throwing stars are pretty deadly - at least according to all those genre movies...
what is it about certain british and commonwealth tv shows, that they have main characters you dislike or don't care about, but you love all the supporting characters like crazy
examples: 800 Words (aus/nz), Monarch of the Glen (scotland), East of Everything (aus/nz)
never saw that last one hurshy... like 800 words. disappointed that liturge isn't a word to go with all the churchy ones.
i like 800 Words a lot, but i basically like every character EXCEPT the dad.
I didn't mind him... but haven't seen it in a while. Have beem trouble getting PBS to come in well.
i subscribe to two british streaming services cause i'm, you know, such a wannabe
:D you're not apologising are you?
no, not really :)
i'm just ashamed of my ancestors
i mean you have ONE king with acute intermittent porphyria and you just give up on the whole thing?
oh dear... skeletons in the family tree?
the family being america and the skeleton being the revolution
ah... I see.
pity we aren't having the same reaction to our current crazy would-be-king...
wait a while...
latest thing i saw was how there are people who used to have important jobs in the government, but now, under trump, because he can't understand the law that says all his documents have to be preserved for the historical record and tears everything up, now those people's whole job is taping papers back together that he tore up
really???? wow. :(
it's adorable that you can still be surprised by this.
Two of them were handed resignation letters to sign. Neither have jobs, and one fought it. Deplorable
should have said "new jobs"
yes, you read that article too!
constantly.... I have been on my heels for tow years now.
uoi have that on FB Kam? could you post it? ((I don't think you are on FB hurshy...?
it's the Emperor's New Clothes all over again... but instead of clothes it's brains
*you
i feel like i could make a political cartoon out of that if i could draw
I saw it all over FB today, will post for you tomorrow when I see it again, Kate.
kate you can just google people tape trump's papers
I keep politics off of my wall most of the time.
TY Kam... if I get back there tonight, I will try to check you wall (and mine - likely there somewhere)
Huh?
ok hurshy, ty
google is your best good friend
Sorry, I have no idea what caused that, lol!
no biggie... the chog has been acting up with multiple posts. The empty repeated posts happened to me a while ago too.
well this is ridic, this is like world war I progress i've been making here, i must quit and go to bed
I'm too tired now for this, off to bed, good night all
be back in the am to finish, hopefully!
Good noght hurshy... this is a slog :(
Nite flosey, sleep well!
niters flosey!
all for a few yards of trenches... sigh
Lol, Kate, it is slogging (if not blank posting, haha)
not a very friendly grid, to say the least.
hells bells - this is like pulling teeth !!
Kate, found the paper shredder/taper link and PM'd you on FB
OH! TYVM Kam! much appreciated.
You said it... hi ursh, welcome to the 5th circle of hell ;)
YW, yeah, this grid...I'm just not getting into finding obscurity tonight, the news has been enough for my brain today, lol!
here's a great example: GI 6/27... only consonants are at either end.. not even a sometimes vowel :(
means: a derogatory term for a non-Muslim, especialkly a Christian, used mostly by the Turks.
Did anyone get the IN 8/55, IN 9/72 combo? I think they have something to do with music...
nm... they are nothing to do with music :(
More like "very interesting" to me...
like the nationasl and international stage these days. Interesting times, indeed.
That's a polite description!
well... that this grid will go down in infamy as one of the sinkiest and stickiest grids ever :(
Isn't the nauga that animal they make all those furniture covers from?
hahaha jwr! My mom had one of those sticky nauga covers on her sofa, ugh!
thank goodness somebody got it! I was beginning to think I'd remembered wrong. It was awful stuff.
Kate: sinkiest? Did I miss something?
I crocheted so many covers for that thing! Couldn't wear shorts and sit on it in the summer. I don't know why she kept it, but it has met its end somewhere. I hope she has more comfy sits in heaven.
You crocheted furniture covers?? Good grief. I've done afghans -- oh gosh, I just realized that was an old joke too....
No, just afghans to cover it up. hahaha, I think this grid is looping us all
I was just thinking that. There's something goofy about it.
Good joshing you Kamanjah -- Gotta go back to work. Later, if you're still trying to unlock the grid. Bye,
sorry Kam.. that was yet another typo *stinkiest*
er, I mean jwr... ;)
Bonjour tout le monde!
The weather is crazy! Pleasant and warm in the afternoon, cool in the mornings and big storms in the evening.
noun
sorry
We have gone cool here. It is kind of nice. I will enjoy it before the hot and humid days hit.
Do you have mosquitoes?
Yes, we have mosquitoes. And if they don't treat the creek in the woods behind me, they are fierce.
When we firstmoved here, almost 20 yrs ago, there were no mosquitoes but as the climate is changing, l think there'll be more and more
Fortunately, there's a bat cave just abovee aand lthink those cute, tiny, black bats will take care of the problem
The bats come at dusk to drink from the fishpond
Nice that you have the bats to take care of the mosquitoes. Mosquitoes breed in standing water so if not for the bats you would have quit a problem.
There's a fou_ntain in the center of thee pond, so that water is always moving
Wow, here is a cool fact from my friend Google...A single bat can eat up to 1,200 mosquito-sized insects every hour
Wow!
The bats must hang out near you because of the good feeding ground
L've alwaysliked bats, but evidently, theree are rrabid bats in Italy, so l'm hoping they don't cross the AQlps!
If i sit on the grass at dusk, the bats fly in circles (close) aroundme and the dog
My husband didn't like them and when one came in the house, he closed the bedroom door and said "You take care of it!"
Oh nice, you got to "take care of" the bats. : D
Men!!
Name that Proper Noun: Entrance to the underworld!
Styx? hi all
Very Excellent! You win a canoe and paddle!
ah yes, it is a river.. tyvm
hah I've had 2 bats brought in by the cat so far this year, and one flew in through the window
I used to have a lot of bats at my house by a lake in northern Westchester NY... it was hilarious to watch my cat circle his head around, mirroring them flying about the chandeliers in the great room at dusk.
But sadly there was a rabies problem, so every time he'd catch and kill one, we had to freeze it and take it to the county health dept for testing.
hello friends
my cat walked across my keyboard. Pressed something?? Now I cant use my scrolly pad had to go back to using mouse. Any ideas??
reboot
some scroll pads have a lock on them it usually looks like a tiny circle in the upper left, maybe he stepped on the lock
sorry completely computer illiterate. Do you mean turn it off and on again? Done that several times as it happened on Sunday!!!Looking for tiny circle
I had mine locked before and had no clue because it was so small I never even noticed it. like an tiny dip on the pad itself.
mine has a red light that comes on beside the pad when it is locked and it is about the size of a pin head...
sadly not on mine
http://www.tomsguide.com/forum/68544-3\n5-mouse-disabled-enable
there is someone with similar problem and a few suggestions
did a copy and paste and it said 'page not found'!!
weird well one suggestion was looking at the icons on the function keys on the top row. if you see on that looks like a rectangle above two smaller ones that is the mouse disable
another person said press control and f4 and control and f8 but I wouldn't suggest that unless you look at the icons because it could do something worse :p
IVE DONE IT!!! Many thanks lorena you are a star!!!!
So glad you got it fixed :D Happy to help. :D
nbt

McDonald's is even worse than ever. They make go thru drive-thru to pick up Uber Eats. Waste of my time and fuel.
"Why is a ***** like a writing-desk?"
I thought the answer was "Because they are both written upon." On further review, Lewis Carroll proposed an answer: Because it can produce a few notes, though they are very flat; and it is never put with the wrong end in front!" The early issues of the revision spell "never" as "nevar", ie "*****" with the wrong end in front.
Freighters on the nod on the surface of the bay One of these days we're going to sail away Going to sail into eternity Some kind of ecstasy got a hold on me And I'm wondering where the ***** are I'm wondering where the ***** are
