Hi Flosey and Une
folding my te 4 -- good night everyone
good morning all
and a good morning to you Sprite
good evening, dear lady *hugs flosey* How are you doing today?
found an ape
great thanks Sprite, has been a good day, have found 50 words, will try for a few more before giving in to sleep!
glad you had a good day! Seems an easy grid so far
yes, so far, as you suggest!
Good morning, Sprite! It's still Friday night here...
*hugs Kam* Yeah, you US peeps are so backward, lollllllllllllll
how are you and your beloved today?
No, you're just rushing ahead, lol! But the way the US is looking in the news, yes, we look terribly backwards
Grandson has been visiting, so they've been doing leather work and just having fun
*giggles* Just kidding. I often cringe when seeing Dutch politicians speak on the international news too.
oh wow, that is awesome, Kam. Lovely for both of them.
Yes, they're having fun futzing around, and Jonathan gets to pick side dishes for supper - beans or salad, not bad choices. No deserts even though they brought home ice cream to go with fresh blackberries that I picked the other day.
desserts
a good example you are giving him. Though... nothing wrong with a little icecream to go with the berries!
have had a lovely day thanks Sprite - and now, you enjoy your day
thanks flosey. Sleep well, dear lady, and sweet dreams.
tyty
think I'll stop with the 50 tonight, bb in the am to finish
good night all, happy babbling

Nite, Flosey, sleep well!
Fireflies here, have a great day, Sprite! Hi to Rose if she pops in.

The sun is shining, the sky is blue...and it's Saturday :D
we're heading into a humid heat wave here in Michigan. Heat index of 100 tomorrow
Wowzers...that is hot! It is headed out way as well, but not until tomorrow for big humidity...possible T-storms from it on Sunday or Monday... don't care though.... memories of brutal winter that never ended still fresh
yes, it was a never-ending winter and we've had some beautiful weather the past couple of weeks so I'm not complaining (too much-LOL)
spring was very late here, jsut getting the first real taste of nice weather now. I hope summer goes on for a very long time. Still making up for last year when summer was AWOL until mid-August...
as long as I can sleep at night, I'm happy.... :D and even not sleeping is preferable to -20 every single day with continuous grey skies!
Wow that's brutal Kate, hope you get some awesome weather in the near future. My immediate future holds breakfast, so take care and HAGD
Thinking about food as well. Off to Sudoku for now :) ttfn
ma 7/36, pls
Male person + most of dental tool (eek!)
guy with a power tool, bichon
it's a ma8 as well
ty Shirl
ty Une
Oohh tx!
be careful of men with power tools
especially a dentist
unless they are toothsome?
or toothpickers
good morning everyone :)
hi cyber
finally found the ma 7 -- and that's a big smelly fish for me
Every man thinks he has a power tool : P
that ma7 is a monkey, which i find rather amusing given the breakdown of the word and the clues given here
thought it was a sea cow
they are sea mammals in Florida
ruru beat me to it.. yes, they are mammals, not fish
just fishy
but the ma5.12 is a fish
it's more in the skate family aloy
and the ma6.24 is an insect! yup, that is more accurate, ru
lots of wildlife in this grid
harpjane is going to have a field day with this one
for sure !
hmmm, not seeing that insect, i want an s for the praying ma but that's a phantom
nm, i think i monkeyed it
ooh, it is the word, Shirlockc
nari
Husband fixing kippers and eggs for brunch - haven't had kippers in ages! He found them when he was looking for some anchovies so I could make anchovy paste. Guess we are in a fishy mood
I can't have fish for breakfast ugh
smoked salmon?
something smells fishy at your place Aloyisius
wakes you up, ru! lol
no way.. I just couldn't do it
We learned about kippers for b-fast on our honeymoon a hundred years ago in Barbados
<--likes regular breakfasts
I'll eat whatever appeals to me for b-fast. Maybe conventional, or maybe zap some left-overs.. but coffee is a must!
coffeeeeeee
I am a slow adjuster in the mornings usually
<-- loves breakfast, not so much other meals
i can eat breakfast food for lunch and dinner
l often have eggs for dinner
I'm with you, aloy... I can eat almost anything for breakfast. Pete - very traditional breakfast food only
brunch, high tea, lunner, dunch
A friend brings me eggs from her own chickens
The difference is am**ing
how are the happy hikers today?
I've eaten sushi for breakfast
good, ru... though still recovering
I can't eat sushi any time of the day
ream
whoops -- gone
loved seeing the photos kje.. looks beautiful up there
ooh.. b-fast delivered to me as I Babble. Delicious, he mixed kippers with chopped red peppers and scrambled eggs. Melon chunks and half a bagel with cream cheese on the side. Think I'll keep this guy!
it is - go see for yourself, ru!
and he lets you babble! def. a keeper
wow, I want breakfast delivered, aloy.... I have coffee, but nothing else right now
you haven't trained him yet kje :D
forgot the onions. well, Shirl.. to be truthful, he is not thrilled the amt. of time I spend Babbling..
is the ma 7 being talked about in chat, the one ending in double vowels?
How is it that so many women who play Babble have men that wait on them? Nice gig.
that's one of them mlf
<--- this slave is free now
shirl my husband and I could eat breakfast anytime too
I could use some of that pampering!
hi guys. any clues for 8s? ty
clue for the other ma 7 pls?
it's the guy with the power tool
mine used to cook, but is getting less helpful in his old age!
mkg think Italian cookie or an Italian liquor but change the last vowel
he is learning how to cook better... working his way through the book "Think Like a Chef"
ty shirl
cyber I don't cook at all
I need to know he can cook if something happens where I can't, so I don't have to eat crappy food ; )
mkg begins with am
ty.
I'm lucky I know how to cook.. my brother couldn't make jello with a supervisor
ty MLF
kje you can have someone cook crappy food for you if either of you wants them to
w alloy and mkg
I don't mind cooking - it's deciding what to cook every day that is a pain
stats for the 8?
am 8/45 is the only one I have
am 8/45
no one waits on me....no one. trust me if i dont ask i get no help.
would love clue for the am. ty
mkg we just did
that's the cookie one i'm missing, the other 8 is the ma (monkey)
hi all
i only see stat..........will look again.
it's not a monkey shirl
hi jmc
hi jmc
hi jmc
Snuffy!
mkg its an Italian cookie
lol, almost forgot jmc
ty
:D
google says the ma8 is a monkey
The ma8 isn't a monkey? With blue stripes on its face and a bright red butt
ohh is that what those monkey's are called ruby?
An itlalian monkey cookie! *looking*
oh.. sorry.. I was looking at Ma7
got it. ty
ruru just add a double cons to the end of the ma7 /36
would love clue for that ma 7 must look back.
drop the double consonant on the ma8 for the ma7
the one I found is a lorilei in the florida waters
it is telling me no such word...hmmm
there are 2 ma 7's -- one is a monkey missing it's last letter and the other is a sea mammal
are there two ma7?
ty cyber
yep jmc, 2 ma7
ty shirl
ok not getting these 7s. and confused. is it am or ma?
wonder if those monkeys sing country music or not
I saw a photo of the ma7 sea mammal when the boy was a fat (12 lbs at birth) little baby and thought it look just like him. I used to call me my little ma7!
missing 3 en's: the 6/21 and the first 2 6/18's -- clues please?
*call him
the 6 18s: first one means whole. as in the whole world or the whole of anything is the en****. second one is: french word for the main course, double vowel at end.
am8 and 2x ma7
I thought of you yesterday JM paying my quarterly taxes
haha glad something brings me to mind
french word is the 3rd one
oh sorry, i must be missing one.
ty cyber
volcano hiding in plain sight today
en 6/21 please?
i lava finding it too aloy
ty snuffy
(-: looked right at it, slow mo to see it
found the en 6/18's, ty
ru I am surprised you didn't blow your top

stats for the fourth column N please
NE 4/5
ty zooz and hi
I also have a NA 6/21 from that tile to.
oh duh!
Hello, Jmc. Hope life is well for you.
well since I was finally able to defeat the giant rat of Washington DC living in my house it is well
I was being terrorised for a while! :/
must scoot, 33 for later.. ty for the clues - ciao for now! eek jmc!
Free lodgings and free food the bloody cheek of them!
now all I have to do is replace all the appliances the rat chewed and . . . .did stuff in. . .
bye snuffy hagd
the damn thing was terrorising my poor cat in the last days of her life. . . .but I won in the end. . .
no rat here, but a mouse chewed into the icemaker tubing.. it leaked and the kitchen floor is all buckled... sending empathetic vibes your way!
really if it had stayed in the basement it would have lived a long life. . .
yes it chewed the dishwasher tube for me and lots of wires. . . .I have some floor damage too so I am sympathetic with your floor as well
Bear grylls would of loved having all that food for him to kill and eat LOL
oy vey!
any way the rat guy said it was one of the biggest ones he had ever killed.
well you should have sent bear grylls for a visit! haha
hi bichon!
so now that I have whined how are things with you zooz?
Still plodding along, Jmc :-)
And whine away I do not mind at all!
any day above ground zooz is a good one. . . .
If I had a rat the size of a cat I think i would moan about it too!
I thought of you when my boy and I visited GB but Ididn't get it together to try for a meetup with anyone
Unless you are a coal miner, Jmc :-) But yes you are right of course!
it was exactly that large zooz. . . I still have a little ptsd
good point and probably diamond and other mines. . . hahaha
whenever the breeze rattles a paper behind me I jump and look for signs of another rat. . .
I hope you both had a great time! Did the weather behave or was it normal and rained?
so what's new with you bichon
Do you have a cat?
oh it drizzled pretty much all the time
am8/45 pls?
We just booked a trip in Dec. for Cambodia andd Vietnam
I did bichon.. . . sadly she died at 18 during the rat drama
Mary, Italian cookie
There's plenty more at the pound
ty bichon, I thought it ended in an O
different end vowel
she came up to me that morning and said she was going to die so I made the boy came to say his good-byes and she died that evening
That's very sad
((Jmc)) Bless her.
But, there are many homeless cats
she was very peaceful. . . I miss her but she was an abandoned kitten of a few weeks when we found her. . . and 18 is really old for a cat...
she lived well
I am a dog prson But, I detest it when people let their kitties run free and they kill the birds
ti 6/21, pls
Not messy
ty zooz
Hope your cruise around Cambodia and Vietnam will be a good one, Bichon!
would love to have clue for bottom row i word, in third column. ty.
It is going to me super. We're going to Angkor Wat, Hanoi and lots of other places
IT + vowel + four letter word to vent off some steam.
Ends in a picnic pest.
got it. ty
Not heard of those places but I am sure it will be wonderful, Bichon.
The Viet Nam war is very stong in american memories
Well yes I am sure it is.
You must of traveled pretty much around the world now, Bichon? are there still some places you have on your list?
Ah well. Think I will go do other things. Happy babbling everyone!
The Bichons travel more than anyone I know.
You betcha!

En + guilty pleasure.

*wonders if his guilty pleasure is the same as judi's?*
** wink wink **
Ru, I don't think Judi watches The Real Housewives of New Jersey
*sputters*
Can't stand those "housewives" shows. Bougie bitches. I was binge watching "Claws" yesterday and the day before.
That show is crazy awesome.
I agree Judi.. vacuous as the Kardashian show
Had to look up Claws... five diverse, hardworking manicurists try to make ends meet in a staid economy while managing perilous personal lives awash in drama.
Not my cup of tea
Vacuous as the inside of the Kardashians' heads.
are any of them cuticles?
They become embroiled in the Dixie Mafia, Molly. It's hilarious.
They are the keratin my salad.
whew!!! finally got it
'name' of a book
I'm imagining that they are polished actors too
They nail their scenes every time.
while bingeing on them.. did you go through them at a fast clip?
I did.
Okay. Gotta wash my hair and get ready to go out for dinner. See y'all tomorrow. Ah. I can breathe easy now that I can Babble again.
I need Judi's life. Out for breakfast, out for dinner and binge watching in between. : D
sounds nice
i've been doing the binge watching part this week, first week of summer vacation
And what are we watching? Something British I assume.
yep, lots o british stuff
just finished "Life on Mars" which was good
