I am a transplanted Londoner and arrived here 50 plus years ago for a two year transfer with my late husband. We transferred to Montreal for a couple of years but hankered for the good life in God's-own.
I have a son and daughter and they each have two sons. Big beautiful bright boys.
My husband died 20 years ago after 41 years so life is different but it's still good. I now share what I have learned from this devastating event in a book and courses for those who are struggling with grief and loss. I also run support groups on this here in Wellington, New Zealand.
My mantra is - if you get the choice to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance - my favourite song.

The icon is Lotte my darling Tibetan Spaniel whom I had to have put to sleep five years ago. How I miss that darling little girl.
