Has so7 been called?
that must be it, thanks! :)
uh oh - have all the 7s but no 8
well now, that was listed in here, too... os 8?
was hoping for a plural
Hi rbud! How are you doing? Improving, I hope! <3
and that so7, haha, goofy word
oh, better in some ways, a little worse in others. Not bad on the average. And yourself? did you get your car back?
Sorry to hear worse in any way! Yes, got car back today, but they have to order a new passenger seat cushion/airbag thing - they missed it. I hope that's all they missed, lol!
found the os if needed
yes please

{{{sprite}}}
I was just leaving...but had to give you a hug!
*hugs Kam* Good evening, dear one, how are you doing?
all good :) See you again soon *extra hug*
Doing well, car is in driveway!!!!!!
yay! Finally!
I know, 48 days later...
How are you doing?
and all as it should be?
Almost...they missed where the passenger seat airbag tried to deploy, so new cushion is on order.
Guess the car tried to save my purse, lol!
I am fine. Lol, was recently told that 'fine' means: f*cked up, immature, neurotic & emotional :D So... let me rephrase this...I am okay. Tired, which bugs me, but we are getting there, should be able to finish my own room today.
hm okay. If that is all they missed, things are not too bad.
ks killed
They had well over 100 pix of the repair progress - sigh. Car was gutted and put back together. It does look great - and when we stopped briefly at a store, a shopping cart blew into it. DAMN! I didn't see a dent, but it was dark and very wet. Hope no dent. I was sitting in it and heard the crash.
okay means overworked, knackered, anxious, and yucky, sprite
Now, that definition of fine...hmmm. Rephrasing to okay is good!
crud, hursh just blew that out of the water too, lol
roflol hursh! THen... doing well. Willing, enthusiast, loving and lighthearted.
just kidding, i just made that up, lol. course, somebody else also just made up the one for fine, so...
silly Kam. You shouldn't sit in shopping carts at your age, honey.
I'm tired. I was sitting in the CAR
hahaha
couldn't resist. You phrased it perfectly, I was pulling your leg. Darn about the bump-in with the cart.
the sitting in the car was clear to me, kam. maybe sprite is the tired one :) or was joking :)
I guess my sense of humour is off :D
can't see the right side E
I was so furious! I was standing there in the pouring rain with high winds, my hair flying all over, rubbing the side of my poor car, lol! A kid from the store came out about two seconds after I stuffed the cart over a curb to hold it still and asked me if I was ok
lol poor Kam
that E is the es 7
ahhh thanks, got it
hursh, am not gonna say I see it clearly and you should put on your glasses...
hiya rbud! How are you doing? Recuperating steadily? Or bumpily?
i HAVE on my glasses, lol
steadily bumping along, lol
lol rbud. Well, at least you are going in the right direction then. I'd wish for less bumps and more steadily for you though.
Well, as I said, I was on my way out...I finished up all right when Sprite said "Good Morning!" Take care and rest while you work, Sprite. And rbud, you just keep smoothing out the bumps and keep getting better, m'k?!
night night, Kam, sleep well and dream even better. *hugs*
and thanks for staying a little longer!Enjoyed chatting with ya.
See ya tomorrow, I hope!
wth... no hotties?
yeah we've been complaining
am joining the plaintives
here's irony for you
i just found an he6 by using morewords, that is japanese, but not fishy.
:D
or how bout this irony. for science today i had set up a thing to show kids rust, for a lesson about metals. water causes the rust. the rust got on my hands when i touched it. then i used water, the very father of the rust, to wash the rust off!
the only he6 I have is not japanese, but native american
lol that is nice irony
well, if you didn't know it was native american, it might look japanese to you
you're just more informed than me
lol I seriously doubt that. I probably still need another he6. Mine means beads, the disk-form kind.
there's only the one he6
okay, great, then I have it.
well, my last two Ts were fishy, but, nothing else. niters! or have a good day in your case spritey! :D
wtg hursh!!!!!!!!!!!!! And sleep well, hursh. *hug*

You are fortunate that you live in a country that knows and wants to help the people in pain. It is so difficult to get anything anymore.

I'm looking for that myself, flosey...
beads used in jewelry making
hmm
That doesn't help me at all...clueless!
I think they are made from shells
They can be made from stones such as turquoise as well. They are small and disc- or tube-shaped, and usually many of them are strung together.
I'm feeling dumber than ever !! but do appreciate the attempt to clue
The word is similar to a word used for Japanese women trained to entertain men, but starts with 'h' and ends with a different vowel.
The word for the Japanese woman (or hostess) starts with 'g'.
(It's not in the grid, quite. I'm just continuing the clue for the he6.)
That did it! Thank you. Goofy word.
Okay, finally got it. It helped me to spell out the Japanese hostess word.

Crap...sorry!

hello, TO and nef and lurkers :)
Ho TO & dc. I was looking for the directions for my hubbys' exercises (he's laying on the floor & has mis placed the directions now!)
LOL i know how that can be. :0
(and that was hi, not ho for my greeting) <blush>
aloha? wilkommen? zao.... *grin*
dc, I really think he loses things faster than anyone else I know of (including me)
Hi stid! How are you tonight?
Tired, but happy...
stiddy...
TO!!!! :-D
Oh? Do you have good news or are you feeling good?
um.... my class has had behavior problems all week long. I am just glad to be home where it is relatively quiet and my feet are up. LOL
LOL!
scrounging around for a light dinner at this late hour. with a base of minute rice brown rice & quinoa with garlic, i've made fried rice! quick light and nutricoius *feeling clever*
Also, I have misplaced my PT's instructions for exercises too... but I know what to do so no excuses!
I'm volunteering at our local school 3 times a week. I'm tutoring a 3rd grader in math. I cannot believe how noisy & wiggly and distractible kids are these days!
TO, that sounds great.
TO, that sounds like the start of a good meal
yes, and easily 80% of my students have a greater need for movement and short attention spans than the "average" third grader. *shrug* as stidgmere told me many times, it's not so bad because at the end of the day they go home... she is very wise.
a bit lazy, did not dice up any onion. but with the quinoa, brown rice and egg, there is a bit of protein.
and how is stidgemere?
add peas carrots and soy sauce. done.
not much for ready made but this is a product i do like. single serve, microwaveable.
She is well, TO -- comes in once a week to give my students a little great-grandmotherly attention. They thrive when she is there!
It still sounds good TO
have not seen here around here.
give her my regards pls.
I don't know if she plays much anymore. She is pretty busy since she retired!
I will, thanks TO
yes, returement is a whole new career
That's wonderful stidgemere is coming into your classroom, stid
god bless you both. i cannot work with little kids.
hmm, no "hotties" today.
Well, third grade is my absolute lowest limit. The size of smaller kids doesn't work for my recalcitrant joints. I actually prefer older (middle school) but my current health precludes a return to the upper grades.
Classrooms are a lot different than when I grew up; & even when my kids were little. Kids are just SO BUSY these days!
I love having Mother come in, TO -- since she is a colleague, I can ask questions about procedural things and she really know who I should approach or ask. She can also help me figure out better ways to support some of the struggling students since her own career was grades 1 and 2 so she knows if it's just immaturity or something else going on.
You are a saint, stids. Middle school kids drive most folks bonkers.
Not a saint, origami, I just remember the awkwardness of that age and I know very little of the rough edges are intentional or personal. There is a lot of adjusting at that age -- physical, intellectual, and social. It's a rough time that requires routines and clear expectations. And honesty. Those kids really appreciate honesty.
time to kick back, not sure how much ice and chaos will greet me in the AM. happy babblng.
evening, stid and origami.
hey seain!
Enjoy, TO. Be safe!
Take care TO.
night, all
Niters, TO. Take Care!
g'night TO, be well.
rather challenging grid today.
Hi seain
yes, I am down to 30, and sufficiently calmed down that I can go do some other tasks for a while. Nice to see you-all! Have a wonderful end to the week. *poof*
enjoy, stid
No, dc, it's just a nasty grid today. I don't know how much longer until I list, but I am 2 words from half way.
see you stids
Niters, stid!
Hi ori!
i'm at 34 to go and am thinking about listing, yeah.
Hi Nef!
How's it going ori? Do you like your new job now that you are well settled into it?
Yes, I do, thanks. Although, they have me working more hours now to fill in. NOT what I signed up for ... but it is temporary.
Is someone sick or on vacation?
How is your brother?
Someone retired and they are deciding whether to fill the position. Asked me to - but, heck, I "retired" from a higher paying position and want no part of working full time again.
He's not good right now. Went in by ambulance with aspiration pneumonia the night before last, & has a collapsed lung.
So sorry to hear that, Nef.
BUT, he's "only" on BIPAP (no tracheotomy or ventilator yet) and they are talking to him about putting in a feeding tube as he's lost 45% of his pre-ALS weight and is down to 135#. (he's about 6 feet 4 inches)
How long until they decide if they need to replace that other person?
We're in the middle of a reorganization. Probably another couple of months. I hope I don't get reorganized out of a job :D
That's a scary thought!
hoping you can keep your job
is that a worry for you, ori?
Thanks guys - it is a bit of a worry. I can't quite live well on my retirement income and want to work part-time for a couple more years. And my part-time job is well-paid. I'll figure out something if it happens.
I'll keep you in my thoughts, ori. I hope it goes well for you.
killed the Ks
WTG - those K's are killing me
Go, seain!!
thanks mostly to morewords :)
I'm still working on the H's, but I do have 3 K's already.
Congratulations seain
Sorry, somehow I imaged a fireworks in there
Wishful thinking, maybe?
It is amazing the simple words I find I have missed when I list
It's amazing to me that so many words are hidden in this grid!
alos, still 28 to go :)
32 left here. :-(
Finally! H's and K's finished! 29 left
I am going to let this one remain unsolved and go paint something. See ya.
Bye, ori! Enjoy your painting time! (I have 19 left; can't quit yet)
be well, origami
so7 was surprising, if sensical, to me.
great profile pic!
to whom you compliment une? And good evening :)
You, Seain!
So 7 might describe how I feel right now (although I don't imbibe)
:)
Hi Une
hey :-)
oh, why thank you. That was early Nov 2017 at Assateague Island National Seashore. I got a lot of nice selfies that weekend, but that was my fave.

Anyone need any clues?
Okay, I'll check back later. Happy Babbling!
