yaaaay!
see, you just have to say it, and then you see it. good old peri principle, works so well
and i don't see the ae8 either
it's a compound of two dissimilar words
i have been trying to put things on the plane prefix, is that right?
yup. plane + unit of pressure
errrr. unit of pressure is usually called "weight". I'm a little tired.
ahhh, thanks
it used them to send mail years ago.
forgot to call er7
for the record, i believe that's 10 7s we've called, 6 8s, the 9, and one of the 10s

apropos of nothing :)
I never did get your en 6/8

on the whole, i think the M words are the most interesting words of this grid
I would be thrilled to say nbt,nbs but......... I just can't figure out that re 9
well, this isn't a problem that you can address with your higher re9 skills...
don't forget the gerund ending
well i have 50 left and i'm thinking of leaving it there for now...
Well thanks to you, Hurshy and ARB, I can now say nbt, nbs !!! Thank you both so very much !

Does anyone have the ia-10? Thanks
Hi all - no peach, I've only just started.
Oh, thanks anyway, Liz. How are you?
Fine thanks - you?
cooee {{liz}} {{ peach}}
Hi and hugs Rose. How are you today?
Doing ok now. Spent week-end before last in the hospital....after a battery of tests, they think I may have had a TIA (light stroke). I had two strokes in 2002 but came back ok after rehab.
Hey there, Rose.
Oh Peach. Glad you're doing OK now.
Thanks, Liz. It was a scary time.
I bet it was.
peach, ia10. ia + first part of annoying babbler + photo*****, takes beautiful pictures
liz, not too bad. went to a local shopping centre and walked for about 2 hours.
Wow, Peach. l'm glad you're OK. Do they put you on antu-coagulants for that?
poor peach... you are still in my prayers honey.
Beat you! We did the same - but out at 11 and just got home.
That's a pretty tough day, Rose. You must be tired.
Hi Ruby - hope you're OK.
Hi Liz. They keep cchanging my meds, so more and more blood tests
Why do they keep changing the meds? Don't they agree with you?
liz, i have two parties this sunday. a 60th and a 21st. so shoping for gifts and cards. also found that Big W sell pure cotton singlets.
Thanks, ruby. They did not give me anything new....i take a coated baby asprin daily though.
That sounds like an exciting weekend. Rest well before the parties. I bet you'll have a wonderful time.
cooee {{ruby}} what rotten luck, changing your meds all the time. you must feel like a pin cushion from all the blood tests.
Thanks for the prayers,
rose. They are appreciated so much.
The embolism went away after more than 60 shots, but this new drug is evidently dangerous
huge hugs for you peach, and as always ruby. so wish we could be there with you ruby, if it would help.
They are making a big deal of it
And all i want to do is nap!
THE NURSE SAYS THAT THE FATIGUE IS CAUSED BY THE CHEMO
sorry for caps
i feel that maybe correct ruby. who knows what those drugs are doing to your body, as well as beating the cancer.
She says that the chemo is attacking everything as well as the cancer
I need to feed the critters and give one his insulin. Be back shortly.
you poor love. i say rest when you can. allow the med to work.
The dogs and gaden keepme going
Look after yourselves. Time for me to get on with other stuff. Have a good evening / day and hugs.
for which i give thanx. how is the garden now? is the weather be5 kind to you and it. i will never forget how the puppies reacted to me. it was so lovely.
{{liz}} and one for himself too. xoxox
The garden is gorgeous! lve hired a real gardener to tamesome of the monster shrubs and Gilles, the rose guy, has planted several azaleas and more roses.
oh, i wish i was there. what colour roses, and are any of them perfumed?
The weather is perfect, much-needed Sunshine after that dreadful, endless winter, 70 in the morning, 60 at night, 80 in the afternoons
Roses are pink, dark pink, purple, red, pale red, deep red and white
how heavenly. are you able to sit in the sun and soak up the warmth? or do your meds not allow that?
There are also several different lilies
are they all standards? or are some low spreading, climbing?
L'mnot allowed to be in the sun because f the chemo.
wow !! your garden is going to be an absolute wonder land
All different kinds, even some very fragrant pale pink climbrs
darn !! but the warmer weather must be helping you to warm up a little.
l've had new stuff planted to help me get through neext winter by looking forward to a spring full of surprises
good idea... take pics and share please?
We even added a third Japanese maple with th azaleas
The only disappointent is that the figs are rotting before ripening, too much rain l guess
oh, that will be gorgeous in autumn.
And there were the most this year :(
mwah.... no fig jam then.. loll.
Tons of currants and sour cherries which l'm trying to turn into a liquer
oohhhh, yummy !! you rock ruby... *giggle*
l've also planted tomatoes, delphiniums and loads o geraniums on the decik where l can care for them
lovely, dearest. the garden you can have when you can't reach the garden. keep those green thumbs alive.
what sort of tomatoes did you plant? they must be just about ready to fruit.
cherry tomatoes and an unknown medium-sized type, 10 plants in all, tangled up together because of a windstorm
have you ever tried the black russians? they are actually purple. makes a salad look very different.
Nothing exotic or too big - simple is my max
understand.
just watering the thirsty plants takes most of my strength
how about training ruffie? teach him to hold the hose. now that would be an interesting exercise... loll
l'm still teaching him to make coffee. No luck so far
roflolll, still spilling it bringing it to you? or is he drinking it?
However, at 7, he has finally learned to sit when he want a treat. He's the handsomeest, most affectionate, mostloyal (but not the smartest)
When i have bad days, he stays by my side all day
hey he has you running around after him. i think that's very smart... *giggles*
awwww bless him.
and they sleep together on the balcony
bless them.
and bless you sweetheart. i need to go. walking around that shopping centre is starting to make me feel rather sore. i hope i see you after the next flip. keep well my dear friend. love you. xoxox
Thank you, Rose, you certainly sweetened my morning
*poof* with hugs and kisses for ruby.
Rose, I want to thank you before you go ,,,for the ia - 10. Rest well dear. Blessings
I think I need to head toward the pillows. Will try to finish this later today. Blessing all.
Bye Peach, sweet dreams
Hello, all. Okay cup of tea ready diving into the grid.
I see it will not allow 'er' on the end of GO 4/7 (to provoke)

Bonjour
Another gorgeous day in Paradise!
manor
oops*
Hello, ((Ruby)) was just putting the kettle on lol. cloudy but mild today so not too bad here.
several days without rain: 55F at night, 70F in the mornings, 80 in the afternoons
Perfect!
But be cause of all the rain in previous weeks, the figs are rotting without ripening.
Not hitting the 80s yet but getting 70s in the afternoons.
You had tons of fruit a couple of years ago if I rememebr correctly. you were making preserve until it was coming out of your ears lol
Yes, lol, n energy for that anymore, but l'm eating lits of red currants
trone
sorry, l can't chat without messing up
Red currants have lots of antioxidants so are good for you!
I am on the R next to that T but I will grab that one..Thanks!
169 and nbt, but Nothing bigger than a 7. l'll be back later ((zzoozz))
My toy koala bear I had when I was a little boy is in the grid today. I no longer have the bear. It was called Bengo. No idea why I called it that name.
Hope you have a great day ((Ruby)) Enjoy the warm weather!
I have an 8 and two tens if you need stats.
Two 8s that should of been but you are not here so not sure why I am typing this.
First run through and I have 101 words left to find. Will come back later to see if I can find the rest. Happy babbling everyone!
The Babble Gods have outdone themselves including ia10. What a word, what a word.
Care to share a clue? I can't, off the top of my head, think of many words starting ia, let alone 10 letter words...
It ends like some make-up for people with sensitive skin. Those make-ups are called hypo-..... It ends with the last 5 of that term
GREAT clue. Got it first time!
Thanks!
can anyone clue the co10 please
never mind I have just found it
1st run. 138 left and no 9 or 10 letter words. I understand the end of the ia but I don't get the middle.
ia10 - first three, mixed up Spanish aunt, then run together most of Mr Moore (007) and first three of Christmas saint.
WOWZA ty
You're welcome.
Off to work. Heigh ho heigh ho it's off to work I go ...
Re9:. Re6/18 + gerund ending
Hey haz :-)
Hello Une, how are you?
Good tx :-)
I'm procrastinating. I should be spring cleaning.
I get red faced from exertion plus the discovery of more dirt than I had envisaged...
Oh me too.....my decorating style is dog hair!
It's a pain, especially when you clean with your glasses on.
Yes!
I remember an elderly lady saying how delighted she was to have her sight improved after a cataract operation but the downside was seeing the dust!
Exactly!! Had cataract surgery this spring....same experience!!
So it was obviously a success - I'm glad it went well.
Went great!
Having the cataract obviously didn't stop you babbling but did it have an effect on reading books?
Needed the surgery for distance viewing
Ah, okay. It's fantastic that they can do so much nowadays.
Une, my mom is having it next week. Took her to the pre-surgery consult yesterday.
I agree, haz!
Amazing to me that it's so routine now....
Good luck to your Mom, Champ
Indeed!
Thanks. She lives 5 mins away, so I'm able to help easily. Sounds like it's pretty easy these days.
She's going to be 84 in August, and in remarkable health, thankfully!
It's a breeze, champ
Can't believe I got the er8...total guess on that one!
You're so lucky to still have your mom.....and healthy......and nearby!
I know! I remind myself of that when I get annoyed with her....at least I really try to remember that!
It helps to have your parents close by when they get older and need help.
It's why I haven't moved. My father in law is 10 minutes away, and he's 85.
Just saw that rats ate over $16,000 in an ATM machine somewhere. Wowza!
It was in India.
Yikes!
Darn, a huge grid and no time today.
Gross!
Me too, Scrabs.
Expensive meal...
60 words and off to work now. Enjoy the day.
hagd!
Oh I object. Wineman is not a word? Ru is one. : D
