get up and do something utterly boring, they say. Usually, I cannot sleep because of too much pain, so that does not work, lol. Listening to the sound furthest away from you sometimes does it for me... or doing a sudoku or logic puzzle... sometimes simply reading until I sleep but that can take until 6 am.
long day. but not too bad. I've picked up a little bit of a runny-nose bug and cough, but it doesn't feel like it will hang on too long. I hope.

One time I really put my foot in it - we had just moved to DC, and speaking on the phone, she demanded - DEMANDED - to know if I was working. I said "no, are you?" That went well.

I told her I would pay for private hospital care for her but she just will not have it. She is a stubborn as my step dad.
Not sure to be honest, Gapeach. She is getting frail now and does not leave the house. She has gone down hill very fast. My sister and I try to help but they just keep refusing our help.

One time my dad was very bad So we called an ambulance out and he turned them away.
