Entirely uneventful sprite.. nothing exciting to report here. We had lovely blue skies and another day of 80+F think we hit 28C here.. rains come again tomorrow though. no, normal tiny, that is: fitting on a flatbed that can be moved by a truck. Single floor. Maybe a loft, though.
Here, 'tiny' is what doesn't require a permit, ie: 10'x12'
We have friends who live the RV life, but park at her mom's property
we got a lot of info from american tiny houses, since it is much more common at your side of the pond. I think the term Tiny House can mean both :)

He has his personal electronics under pretty good control, and has been able to cut meds more than he thought. He's doing quite well, and has energy to do multiple things every day. I'm a bit jealous! I want a fix for my health too!

lol no. we have permission to park the container there for the time being. Our hope is they will let us park our caravan there as well, and let us build the house on site. They want to know more about it all before deciding.
I think he's happy with results. I just hope I can manage to go with him tomorrow, but he's going to have to drive. I want to know more about what else they can do with the electric fields they mess with...I don't really understand fully how it all works, but I LOVE seeing smiles!

nope, not renting it. The sea container is ours. And we have permission and a permit to park it at one of Rob's canoe clubs. They have the space and need some money to keep the club alive. So we hope they will let us do the whole project there.
OK, that makes a bit more sense to me. Our county is having fits about containers and required all sorts of retrofitting, then it all got voted down because there isn't any law about containers at the moment. Calif doesn't have any laws about the containers, but as soon as there is an alteration - like a window, or electricity, it becomes a building. Make sure you don't get caught in a permit trap.

the sea container is only for storage and work space. It will not be used for our tiny house :)
We want to put a container on the property that burned, but until the county decides what it is going to require, we're waiting.

the container was already ours, honey. And it was a gift, since it is nearing the end of its life. Rob has been using it as workshop for the last few years. It was in our back garden. Had to move it before the photographer comes.

I used to be the same way about books. Couldn't part with any of them. It all changed with my ereader. I still love the feel of a real book, but the ability to reread as often as I want without having it take up more space is definitely a life changer.

Good morning y'all. I have been watching the Dance of the Trees. The eye of the storm is directly overhead now. So far we have been very lucky. There are several counties that have lost power. It will last until daylight and then we are told that we will have sunshine this afternoon. The howling of the wind was a little disconcerting but the dancing trees ( that would be a good title for a book) make up for the howling. We are so lucky. Blessings

Atlantic. This is the first recorded hurricane to hit the panhandle of Florida. I have 2 friends that live on the Atlantic side of Florida (they both called to tell me that the sun was shining there). I do feel so sorry for the thousands that had to evacuate. A lot of them took their animals with them.

I have a friend in Pensecola...hoping the winds there don't ruin the plants - his wife grew a lovely flower garden, and she just passed last week. I hope her plants are ok, because he loves the flowers she grew.

I finally got to meet her just a few weeks ago - I had talked to her on the phone and on FB a lot - she was such a beautiful person, I'm so glad he had her, and so sad she passed so soon
personally, I think the whole 'the good die young' thing is bull poopy. The Big Guy would do better to take away the assholes and let us keep the good ones for longer. Just saying.
Really! I don't know her exact age, but very close to mine. Cancer that spread to her brain. Thankfully for her, it was really fast, so she suffered very little
and back after such a lovely call from youngest son. lots of laughter and such.
I lost a friend to cancer who was even younger than I was, about 10 years ago. She was such a good person. And then we have people like my parents, who are no good to anyone...

lol, did I ever tell you about the vicar in the church where I used to give sacred dance lessons? Such a wonderful lady. She said she loved the way I talked about God in my lessons. I told her that sometimes I curse when I pray. She literally had to sit down from laughing, and then told me that she was certain God took very good notice of my prayers, seeing how intense they were ;)
yes, it is OUR life experiences which makes us good listeners and EMpathisers. our understanding of how actions, words and emotions are linked is for a goodly(Godly?) purpose.
