it is. But Rob is off to work, and the logistics for making coffee myself in the early morning are not easy. First must take meds, wait for them to work, then navigate stairs.
timing things can be a pain...literally...I'm waiting for the midnight chime for my meds so they can kick in by the time I hit the bed. I hate stairs, and will never live in another place with stairs! Last time was 1980, never again.

Our local elections are the most important to me - county level...we're not in a city, and have a chance to get two new supervisors and keep a good sheriff, and the polls look good...won't know until after the election though. The biggie is Calif governor, and I'll leave that there...the man that wins will 'do his thing'

I've been reading the chat -- don't understand how people can be removed from the registered voters list - do you have to reregister before every election? or do lists conveniently get lost?

voters get removed for moving to a new town, change in name or civilian status - or, recently, for being black in a state where a black person is running :(
or, for being democrats, when the republicans are afraid of (justly) losing their seats. Perhaps if the actually represented the people they were elected to, instead of lining their own pockets, they would have less to worry about
but who removes the names? aren't voting lists scrutinized? If your name is on the tax roll, how can it be removed from the voters list?

Fine from what I hear. We decided to give up regular whale watching this year - for a number of reasons and now it looks as though the company we used has gone bust sometime during the season. We did see some good whales from the foreshore, when we were out walking, quite close in too.
Nice I would never get tired of watching them if I was there.
They are absolutely amazing to see but we were away for a large part of the season this year.
