got the go ahead to put weight on surgical foot, but only while wearing an air cast. started with two crutches, now using one - goal is to walk into doctor's office crutch free in mid-december. had a consult with physiotherapist and she gave me some exercises to do before the next visit with both surgeon and her - then physio will ramp up into the painful phase.
i find that the surgical foot is pointing away from my leg, so am trying to be conscious of straightening it - a gal i know has to use a band to get her foot back in alignment
