Yep, found him, but then my helper (daughter's BF) had to walk him six blocks home as he was too muddy for the car, yuck!
glad you found him, but not at all a fun exercise for either of you.
he's old and loves to pop out of his collar when he's on the cable outside. If we put him in a fence, he jumps over it. He's a pain.
He's so proud of himself, too, he's one of those dogs with a big smile, haha
terra has arthrosis on his neck and shoulders and we bought him a different kind of collar. This one goes under the chest, one leg on either side, and then closes over the shoulders. Impossible to pop out of, might be worth trying?
lol, gotta love our pets... the more character they have, the more we love them.
we've tried all kinds of collars and harnesses. Sometimes he just takes the whole cable with him, too, he's really tricky. Yesterday he somehow just unhooked it from his collar quite neatly.
what a pain... but also kinda funny
Tonight he was dragging the cable. If only he were faster at doing his business, we wouldn't feel so inclined to ignore him out there for long periods.
One of these days, I might be able to get a tall enough kennel setup, I hope.
he is a real smart dog, apparently. Not the easiest of pets, but also adorable.
I love it that he is proud of himself and gives you a grin.
Oh, yeah, way too smart. Mostly border collie, they have to have something to do or they get really bored.
oh, one of the smartest breeds, those border collies. And as soon as they get bored, they are gonna find something to do, lol... and never something good.
acquaintances of mine have two dogs... a border collie and a jack russell terrier. You wouldn't believe the kind of trouble those two manage to get into. Both still young. They are more than a handful!
oh, I'll just bet - those are a couple of very energetic breeds.
