good morning all
good morning my dearest.i wont stay too long. very weepy, eyes burning....i think it's the ketamine blues....not much pain, except for one spot on the left gluteus-feels like i've have 3omls of paraldahyde....
*hugs rose long and warmly*
if anyone here remembers that wretched stuff.
great to see you, and sorry to hear you are weepy. Coming down from the ketamine is a lady dog, to say the least.
it was so lethal you had to use glass syringes for it.
nasty !
i was having a great day until DH rang me and said i guess we have to cancel the podiatrist, in that panicky voice he has...remember.
ugh yeah, I remember. And why did he think yu had to cancel?
well i rushed myself through the shower, managing to ex-canulate myself , as yoy do, blood every where, me in tears, poor nurse duidn't know where to start.
because it was 12 midday, and he hadn't left tp pick me up yet... my fault of course, for being there in the first place.
aw sweetie... I wish his moodswings did not hit you so hard. He is a bit immature in some respects...
next time you tell him: "I will take a cab." And hang up the darn phone. Jeezzz it is about freakin' time the Donster grows up.
we were ten minutes late and he started to gesticulate me into the chair first, and all i could say through clenched teeth was... just get in the goddamned chair....
AND she finished us both with 3 minutes to spare of our appointment time...
so once again no need at all for a Donster tantrum... guess you need a few tools to handle this kind of upheaval... we will talk about it when you guys are here :D
now here i am sitting here with my bestie, with an axe to grind and not a honing stone in sight...of course i could use DH's head
thank you honey, and thanx to the lurkers, for allowing me the time to let off steam...
*giggles* You know I love the man. AND sometimes I wish I could kick him in the heinie. For crying out loud... he should be over those adolescent tantrums
if you will pardon me a few mins, i have some crackers and dip calling me....and anotheglass of you know what...in fact, make it a bucket
if you will pardon me a few mins, i have some crackers and dip calling me....and anotheglass of you know what...in fact, make it a bucket
if you will pardon me a few mins, i have some crackers and dip calling me....and anotheglass of you know what...in fact, make it a bucket
after stuff like that you need to vent for a bit, especially when you are already a bit wobbly as a result of all the medical procedures
uggghhh, sorry
lol well okay, if you feel that strongly about it, I will give you a few minutes for a pantry raid... :D :D
*smug* left column greyed out
back....
wb honey
no more about me...how are you feeling about the little set back with the plaster?
am okay now. It is what it is, and all I can do is accept it.
if we rented an automatic, would you be able to drive if needed?
I think I will be able to drive... in the rental with the automatic transmission, that is. Walking... well, we will have to see about that. Probably not for long stretches yet. Do you think the Donster is willing to push my wheelchair?
i'm sure he is, and if he doesn't well i'll give it my very best shot. would be like my wheelie walker.
lol I can navigate myself when on even ground too... we will see. Somehow we will manage, and no matter what, we will have a grand ole time together.
and i will have you for ballast
what are your meal arrangements with the hotel, btw?
I am great at being ballast, LOL
not sure yet...
we will play it by ear for the first few days and when settled in start some sort of regime
please let me know once you know. Or let me know what you would like them to be. We can cook for you a couple of times, and I wouldn't mind extending the meal service we use for you guys either.
playing it by ear is fine too.
name that proper name: cutest sesame street character
oh oh elmo
dingdingding! You win the glass of sangria
has to be collect, right?
absolutely
goodie for me... loll
*grins* I willl keep it here for you, until you arrive
nice one....
hm that reminds me, I must arrange for chairs so that you and Don can sit comfortably here.
last night, about the ice?? that was for real.... the nurses had the strait jackets out ready, and i could stop laughing, they were on the verge of ringing john...
*couldn't*
aw sweetie... you were kind of out of it for sure.
at least i know now i don't get nasty on the stuff...but for pete's sake, who makes sangria without ice??
too true.
and where was the key?? all of a sudden the door was unlocked... i tell you it was a conspiracy.
hehehe they will remember you for a lonnnnnng time
*smug grin* yup that's for sure
one of the nurses in the hospital remembered me too... "Oh you are the one with the two feet in casts and the endless banter and smile." Not a bad epitaph.
lolll yeah...
any word from belgium yet?
nah, i must email her again before easter hits...for me that means almost bedlam... don't get me wrong, o love every second of it.
*i*
I know :)
it's nice to be remembered by your smile and laughter. i had two visits from two different pastoral care workers, and the irish woman who plays her guitar and sings beautifully. she saw my name on the board and came straight in to visit me.
aw that is wonderful
dan came to his nephew's 13th birthday party on the weekend. i am so proud of him. he held his own against his nay-sayer uncles. gave them as good as the gave him. but much more politely.
wooooot wtg Dan!
i must email him. i meant to do so but everything sort of kaleidoscoped on me..
it's been a pretty intense couple of weeks for you
dan's wife, Lisa and my bro's fiancee, Yui both were flabbergasted by how we all get along, laughing, chatting, etc. it did get rather loud too.not for the faint-hearted, a gathering of the Wilson mob. loll
absolutely wonderful. Rock 'n' roll is NEVER too loud :)
about 23 days to go, sort of, with time zones being crossed... oh sweetie. it's gonna be heaven..
can't wait.
toes are a-tapping, arms are out-stretched....
no tut this time.... maybe a daffodil, just to make you stand out farther, as if you need to do so..
guess I am gonna sit down later today and make me a list of things to get done before you guys arrive
ugh... my typing...*tutu*
roflolollllll no, no tutu, cannot take it away from our neighbour girl. She'd be devastated.
just make sure the potty is empty....
you will have to use the canoe club's potty. Unless I can get Rob to get the chemical toilet going... will see what I can do.
yeah..... don' want to stink up the caravan, that's for sure...
here's a thought... put it out in the road....no spillage problem there....and what the headlights miss, no-one is going to care... they will be blind anyway.
it is more relaxed to use the canoe club's toilet, but in case of panic, it would be nice if you could 'go' closer by.
hehehehe
can just picture it...radiant white ass lit up delicately by the high beams of a passing car... no honking allowed
fireflies
while on the road, we can stop at any gas station. They are close together in the netherlands, no worries.
*big hug* Hang in there, honey, and don't let the Donster get to you. He loves you madly, and sometimes it shows ;) *hugsssss*
WTG SPRITE !!!

The slang for a hat is British slang for a hat. I didn't get the clue either. : D
good clue for the de6. Thanks
hi all. help with P pls
nm
Explanation for the slang for hat. In Cockney rhyming slang, a stairs is 'Apples & Pears', cash is 'sausage & mash', Ruby Murray means curry, and a hat is known as a 'tit for tat', or a ti 6/27, in a Cockney accent. Thus endeth today's lesson. You're welcome!
didn't have that one - thanks for the clue (and the lesson)

first re6/21? P&TY
I've come out of lurkdom to beg for last word -- to6,21-- I I Promise to give requested clues after!
I just got it. it's a past tense.
it means to add or total up. think of another word for a kid and then pretend that's a verb and make it past tense
That's the 5?? Confused...
the 6 has an extra cons. in the middle
TY, hokie! FW!!! how could I miss it?
happens to me all the time
Gratefully offering clues!
Babble Blindness...
first re6/21?
To heat up candle wax again
ugh, thanks
what about the ti 6/27?
I wouldn't say that is an "ugh" word. Sometimes they are hard to see. And words we don't use in conversation. My brain doesn't see those, usually.
I monkeyed that one...
the fact is a lot of words could be re words and it just seems random what is considered one and what isn't
Ti-- breast _ 1st 3 of little beasti-- ***ett
et
ending sounds a bit like 4
lol, have never seen that word before
me neither
now I just have the so 5/16 and 6/27 left. am not seeing those either, even though I know there's not a lot of options
just extend hokie
From earlier chat, the ti 6/27 is a British slang word for hat. I had never heard of it either.
so5 is like a couch but add a consonant in the middle
sorry, not the exact middle!
well, I had tried that with an i and an e at the end but not the a, thanks
yw!
is the 6 related to that?
hello everyone - late start on this one
found the 6 finally! hello, nan
just read the chat -- no idea on the little beast that follows the breast
oh - the weasel, I guess
ty
coming down with a cold - really raw throat, so not thinking too clearly
so 5/16-- Boston way to say more cuddly
think harder, but said here-- harda
the ti6/27 comes from Cockney rhyming slang - ti6 tat
ge 5-6 combo please?
found the 5 - guess it is not a combo
found the 6
so 5/16-- not hard + vowel
can anyone clue me the de 6 please
Molly's clue: de + not tall, WITHOUT the S
bless you Marilyn, got it
Who knew the ge5-6 combo were words. Typical Enable.
one more left the re 621 that is not the thing you control the tv with
To warm candle wax again
thanks molly that's fireworks
