some days I just don't have the energy or breath to do a lot, but there are more days when I do get things done. It helped that the hot temps slacked off a bit the last week.
hot and humid weather is so draining. And yeah, some days the energy just is not there. It is great that the low days are outnumbered by the better ones :)

I am okay. Weather here has been draining too, yesterday was better though. It seems my ankles do not like the hot weather at all, haven't been able to walk.

It'd be so much easier if it was the norm in the UK and Europe to have A/C. Similar to us not having central heating, I guess - but the opposite way round.
yes exactly. It is only a couple of weeks a year, not something to invest heavily in. In our house, we could manage. In the trailer, not so much. It is just like an oven, lol. But we escaped to the canoe clubhouse.

Dogs find it very hard in such hot weather.

I'm fine, thanks. Have been pitying you all in your heatwave, for which most of you (Europeans in general) are so totally unprepared - a once-in -a-decade event, if that. Rose will respond eventually, I'm sure. I read the chog; saw it as nothing more than a discussion between friends, nothing to get one's knickers in a twist about. Hopefully, when she emerges from her dark place, she will see that as well. xx

when I was a kid in Va we didn't have AC, so we spent a lot of time in the basement. it was unfinished but we had a pool table and a couch & tv.
hokie I am sitting here with a jacket on part of a sweat suit hubby used to have. I am usually cold inside even if A/c isn't running. I don't like outdoor activities unless its eating or shopping .. If we could do other things that would make me happy
