How is, Rose Sprite. I have not seen her here for a while?
she is not in a happy place. A lot going on and when a few of us in babble did not agree with her at the same time, she took it badly.
Oh no I am sorry to hear that. It is very hard when you are not in a good place. I have been there more times recently than in a good place so I know how that feels.

yeah, I know too, not from recent times but lots of times in my past. I will keep on reaching out to her and hoping I can reach her.
I have found when I have not seen eye to eye with friends that the longer you leave it without talking to them the harder it is to start again.

Oh I am pleased Rose has replied to one of your e-mails. Keep trying, Sprite Rose will come back round I am sure. You two have a great friendship that I am sure is much stronger than a disagreement.
I hope so too. And the disagreement was minor, just that rose said people with alzheimer do not realise what is happening to them and I (and some others) saying in our experience that was not the case, alas.
a very dear friend of mine was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer last year. I saw her again two weeks ago and zooz, it was heartbreaking.
Ah I see. I can see that if you are not in a good place and several people are not agreeing with you I can see how it might make you feel people are against you. But I do hope, Rose will see that that is simply not the case.
that is exactly it. For her it felt like we all had a go at her, and we really didn't. But it can feel that way and that is not a nice feeling.
Sorry to hear that, Sprite. It must be very hard on all to go through such a horrible disease as that. I hope oneday they will find a cure for it.
me too, but for my friend it will be too late. There is nothing left of the person she used to be. And the moments when she is realising it, are the worst. She is so sad then.
I did see a documentary once and they got people with that disease in a large house for a week or two and each room they decorated to each persons era the day. So they each had the TVs they had when they were young etc including TV programs....
oh wow, that must have been nice for them!
The food also and magazines etc the transformation the these lost people was amazing. they remembered everying and was singing and dancing and talking to each other like they did not have the disease.

awesome! My friend is at home, where she and her husband have their own center. They touched many lives and now lots of us are paying it back in helping care for her.
