co7...first three of cob vegetable + what tuna comes in (plural)
It is the material tuna containers are made of.
really aren't they aluminum cans
got the first 5 letters but how does it end?
No, think of what Christmas cookies come in.
Or the man with heart problems in The Wizard of Oz
Brits call all those containers what I am referring to.
You're right, Molly, we do.
Also, there was a music district in New York called ____ Pan Alley
I think that is as clued as it's going to get
Marc, cans are often steel, or tin-coated steel, aluminum or chromium-coated steel. depending on what is being preserved and how acidic it is.
And there is the word I was trying so hard to avoid. Should be easy to get now.
oops. apologies.
my enthusiasm gets the better of me at times.

well, I got the stupid dr4 on my own today
ever notice when uncommon grid words are in the grid on back to back days? like yesterday was the 2nd day of tryst/tryste.
mu 6 please?
Sheets fabric
a type of fabric
duh - ty molly and carla
also used to describe a practice garment made out of any fabric
I don't think anyone sleeps on those mu sheets anymore
Tx Carla!
my grandmother used to use it to back quilts. I think that's mainly what it is used for these days.
Sorry, should have said a fabric that USED to be used for sheets
was used for ladies undergarments at one time as well -- in the days of petticoats and drawers
I would get so confused when I first started making clothes and all the FB groups would say "make a mu6 first" because I was thinking of the fabric but they mean it as a fitting garment made out of cheap but similar fabric to what you're making, not necessarily out of mu6.
and the holy grail (well that might be an overstatement) is when you end up with a "wearable mu6"
su 5 please?
nm - monkeyed it
share, pls, nan

Hank jr?
Hank Williams, Jr., famous country singer and son of Hank Williams, Sr, famous country singer
ok, ty. Not into country, but bluegrass
I'm sad that there are people who don't know who Hank Williams and Hank Williams Jr. are. : (
I think their fame transcends country music but I could be wrong.
okay, looks like I was not wrong ;-)
"Hey Good Lookin'" is a classic whether you are into country music or not
I'm sure I've heard him sing, but I listen to Johnny Cash
"I"m So Lonesome I Could Die"..."Jambalaya"..."Your Cheatin' Heart"...
bichon, Hank Sr was alive 1923-1953, and this is from wiki "Regarded as one of the most significant and influential American singers and songwriters of the 20th century"
I don't really listen to country musice, but I'm sure I've heard Hank William. Don't forget, grew up in NYC
Howdy, y'all.
I wasn't alive then, but I feel like he probably reached NYC.
howdy, judi
okay, have never heard of tr7 and dictionary has it as a proper noun. thanks, enable.
Shakespean play, ******* and Cressida
Yes, but if you read the HELP section, under WORDS NOT ALLOWED it says "Proper nouns, abbreviations, contractions, hyphenated words and foreign words that are NOT IN THE ENABLE DICTIONARY." Which means, if a proper noun IS in the Enable dictionary, it is allowed. It's a weird game.
Time for lunch. BBL.
agreed, TTFN

wi 5/20, pls
well, there was a pop band named that in the 90s or so but I know that will not help. there is a gas station chain named that. they always had the cheapest price.

I know what TTFN means. I just don't get the whole abbreviation thing. It doesn't take that long to type out Ta Ta For Now, or thank you, or have a good day.
I don't like hagd, I always say it in my head like hag-duh. I also don't like ty. For a long time when that started I was like, why's everybody always talking about Ty.

Molly 11:29am - Enable is not as strange as you think it is. I have always found the imProper name (after an extended search on a good engine. In this case Tr7 with the lower case "T" turns out to be the common name : "a tr7 butterfly" "A large American butterfly (P...t....). It is black, with yellow marginal spots on the front wings, and blue on the rear."
