I've been babbling since 2008, which is not as long as many, but pretty long. I have seen a sharp decline in the tenor of the chog - it used to be a fun, interesting place, where people did not openly insult each other. people swapped advice, recipes, solutions, etc. It's not like that now.

I have often found ru ru funny, but yes, he crosses the line often. Molly, however, is another case. Ruru, I found great comfort in babble when i was ill. You made me laugh. Crossy, ruby, grannyrose, sprite and many others were chatty and supportive. Then Molly started with the snarky comments and claiming so many long time babblers were fake identities. I'm one of the peopke that was driven from the chat by her and your defence of her.

the ranters today are really nice people. we are all adults. why can we agree to disagree and go on as friends?yes i was hurt recently, but i had other issues i needed to sort out. i was vulnerable but that cannot be 'seen'. recognising that it takes two or more to make a quarrel, and choosing to opt out for a while was the only way for me. but i still like/love my friends, all of you. even the ones who sting.

PTSD is a serious issue granted. I have no idea how you were raised. But there are ways to reduce its effects. They are doing programs with rapid eye movement that are helping veterans and it seems to be sucessful.

yes. I was sexually abused too.. and often in my childhood but i've dealt with it.. and I don't carry around a pity wagon and let it ruin the life i have. my ex wife has PTsd from her past and she's seeing a specialist soon to deal with it. I have helped her through a lot.
We who suffer with PTSD tend to be a harsh lot. Do not worry about me. I've been in therapy a long time. I have baggage & I know what's in every bag should I choose to open it.
