I knocked a wax melt off yesterday and hot wax went all over the wall. So I will be trying to get that off today. The hub told me to sand it and repaint, but I saw online you can use a hair dryer and towels, so I'm going to try that.
I spent 30 minutes trying to sort out which Amazon packages have been delivered and which are still in transit...

what's a wax melt?
it's an electric thing with like a night light bulb and you put these scented blocks of wax in it. so like a candle without the flame.

scraped off the baseboard pretty easily but the wall not so much

it was butterscotch scent and pretty much butterscotch color

lavender and butterscotch sounds like a great ice cream flavor
it said after you melt it off you can rub a used dryer sheet on it to get any residue. I probably will end up having to paint though.

Two people in my company are retiring at the end of the year and I love hearing them talk about not working anymore.
my dad has Parkinsons so he really can't, but the issue with FaceTime is that he doesn't understand it is a video and holds it up to his ear.

Don't do it, ruru. My husband and I are busier now that we've retired. Everyone takes it for granted that you "have all the time in the world" and favors are asked of you a lot. Don't get me wrong, I love helping people, but sometimes I need to learn the word "no".

it is definitely frustrating that the "enable" dictionary which has been the basis for this game since it began has not been updated, but of course updating it would come with other frustrations for long-time players
The word list this game is linked to has not been updated in almost 20 years. And I respectfully disagree that updating it would cause problems.

Hardly anyone hand writes anything. I was thinking of that as I addressed some Christmas cards.
However, in my case, I should not longer write in script. I have TERRIBLE penmanship.! write like a 1st grade child.
Letter writing was a way that history was accumulated. Will the history of the future be told by emails? Or even worse, texts?
Hope history will continue 2 be told through textbooks in school.I believe many things require documentation still.
