yeah, our tall trees are all in the way back. it is very windy here right now. and the ground is super saturated. will not be surprised if we have some fall over
That is my concern. These maple trees are 80 years old. Most of the trunks are hollow. This wet ground and wet, hollow trees makes for some unstable woody ornamentals.

Well Molly I am not sure I would use the word LOVE in connection with snow. Sometimes it is nice, sometimes not. By itself it is actually very nice, but with wind (and it almost always is with wind), it can be pretty problematic.

As a woman of certain years I am often reminded of how we are judged by our age and relative attractiveness, at least the attractiveness to the beholder. When I was 22 I lived for a year in a South America city. OFTEN when I went out alone (never with my husband) Men approaching me would smack their lips and say "Mamacita" Not yet having reaching the maturity to see this as a form of misogyny, I was mildly flattered. Now at the age of 70 walking the streets of a large city, no one is showing any admiration at all. As a matter of fact I am nearly invisible. sorry for the rant

I am now 70 several people commented (young clerks) made a reference to my husband as my son. I got my haircut and restyled looking much younger, and added eyebrow stuff. I'm told I now look 10 to 25 years younger. I didn't realize how my gray eyebrows were aging.

Do I look 70? Certainly I do: white hair, wrinkles, age spots |could go on. But I am more fit that a lot of people younger than me, I have an interest in almost everything and love taking risks.
I was also getting some from the seniors where my mother-in-law lives, if I was her sister. Yuck. no more.
I play tennis 4 or 5 times a week.
mixi6 I so get it with the eyebrows. I had a fine, think arched pair that looked great. Now most of them have fallen out and those hat didn't were white. And yes, adding eyebrow stuff makes a big difference
