Thanks for the help, Carla. I saw another tutorial yesterday but she sewed the binding to the back of the quilt and then stitched it to the front.
I'm on a deadline with this quilt and I do not want to take the time to hand sew the binding even though that is my favorite part.
I'm down to 26. Need to get ready for a meeting...
I usually have to hand stitch in spots that got skipped somehow. I guess I don't sew the first stitch straight. and the last one I did (a little lap quilt one) I must've cut it too big because then when I washed it the binding all curled up.

well, we met a woman there who used to work in proximity to my husband and they knew all the same people. anyhoo, she said she is getting rid of her 4yo Golden Retriever. we very seriously considered taking her to have with our 3.5yo but I'm just not sure how he would feel.

Our alpha female cat came to us from a drainage culvert after Katrina before the power was restored. Our dog came to us from a neighbor to my husband's hunting camp who doesn't believe in animal control. She slept in the chair on his camp's deck whether he was there or not and I finally told him to bring her home. She was the smallest and wasn't able to get to the food bowl/pile before the others had already ravaged it. I think she gained 15 lbs in her first 2 months w/us.
