ooh, cool! I like old Traffic, too. "John Barleycorn Must Die" album - "Glad" and "Empty Pages" - yayus. "Empty Pages" kicks butt when it gets rolling about 2 min in - "and she's good at appearing sane" - used to be sorta my theme song back when.
Oh, yes, Traffic. I forget about some of the old bands. Steve Winwood was great. Then he went on his solo career and went all 70's. That was not so great. But now he is recording old songs a cappella and they are pretty good.
the "Dear Mr. Fantasy" album was big amongst my musical buddies, too, but that's a given.
I liked that jazzy/bluesy Traffic sound. And Winwood's voice, of course.
