Yes. When you click on the archives and select the day, there is an option to view the word list.
you should be able to see it later, but it hasn't posted yet
i reloaded the page, and the link was there
Thank you, i knew I had seen it before and was confused why I couldn't see it now. Question answered, thanks again !

strange word
Thanks all.
Strange words are the Enable word list specialty.
no definition on the provided link? you don't say
Looks like it is another word for the animal that starts the same and ends in eater
ah
I thought the big words were dificult today.
I am off to see what trouble I can get into. See you all tomorrow.
bye bea! stay out of trouble!
I'm struggling to reach halfway on each tile. I would say this is a tough grid, but then ru might call it easy. :D
fearce - scared to be awesome
tough grid
I am only 60% finished after 1st pass
Seems like the smaller ones are more challenging. Enough brain scrubbing for now
yep, they usually are. less words means weirder words
doesn't seem to be that bad to me yet

Hurshy, the walking dictionary
well that's just my guess
cannot confirm as dictionary.com is not working
she says, as if there aren't any other online tools to use...
yes, i am correct
It's one hundredth of an are, whatever an are is
well it says the ce7 is one square meter, and an are is 100 square meters
and the hec**** is 100 of those, so 10,000 square meters!
and a conversion search tells me that a hec**** is about 2.5 acres, then

Picnic pest, grizzly

four of them are 4s so that's encouraging
he also told me one of the 7's was a regular word, when the rest of us disagree
I have three 7s, and none of them are regular
8 to go
I think I still had 5 4's when I went to the list and some of them I should have gotten.
last two words I've gotten were 4s...7 to go
well, I found my way into the en8 :)
that really captured my attention aussie
I also see we have a phantom goose today
honk if you see it
honk honk
you found the brant?
what tiles do you have left, moo?
F, R, A, N, T and O
aka NOT FAR
the o has a real word and then one not in my vocab but we've had before
the N is probably the one that is a former Carolina Panther that lives/d in my neighborhood (see, not giving it away)
I know what you means
and yes, it was
HA! did not expect you to get that one
He was a Jaguar tho I thought
I played a tennis league with his (ex?) wife, who I think was a panthers cheerleader at one point. she is super nice.
Had him on my fantasy team in the late 90s or early 2000s don't know for sure
pretty sure he started here, maybe ended his career at Jax
I think he played college at UNC, maybe NC State
could well have, stopped following football many years ago
I did fantasy football and baseball when I had a job pre-kids.
looks like his name actually has a vowel on the end (still in the grid though)
appears he played for the Chargers, the Jags, and then only one season at Carolina. but he grew up here in my county, so I guess that's why he settled here.
yeah, makes sense
so, 6 left or you found more while I was blabbing on
5 to go
got the one we've been babbling about
trying to find the two 4s I have left
got the T...four to go
madagascar?
no, had that one
it was a four
my last F was a tricky spelling but you should get that
hi everyone - late start today, so it's nice to see some familiar "faces" here :)
guess I spoke too soon
hey nan, I'm just in and out, working in my sewing room/office on this rainy day
moo must've had to do actual work
will be glad to clue anything
sorry about the rain -- sunny and hot here - staying in the A/C
just finished the first run through
will probably need help later though, ty
still 4 left here
well, the rain is keeping the temp to 75F and it's a light rain, so I'm okay with it.
41 here last I looked
back up to 90 there yet, moo?
snow is mostly melted tho
41F?
couple more days and will be back in 80s
yeah
hi mool
hey nan, happy Wednesday
15C or 59 american here atm. Howdy my babble friends. :)
Did we ignore/Albert Gore?
More like 5C here :)
hi crossy
31C here
I am fine with the metric system for distance, but I still think F is better than C for temp.
IDK, Kap. Is that some kind of poetry?
or is he in the news? I don't follow the news right now.
well I've lived half my life with C and half with F....C makes a lot more sense to me, but I use F because of where I live
my youngest (who is 18 today) is a bit of a math genius so we made him do all the conversions when we went to Canada last year.
9/5 + 32 from C to F, or -32 5/9 going the other way
maybe F would make more sense to me if you learned it first, moo
yeah, I knew 9 was involved somehow
sense to you, not me
pe 7 please
only news we watch now is the BC covid update and our local evening news. All of our news channels seem to be dominated by the American election and I have had fake news, sensationalism about who is corrupting what and the lyin' king to last a lifetime
it's chemistry, nancy!
helpful? not to most people
a subject i am very bad in
Well I think you could objectively argue that C being based on freezing and thawing of water, using 100 degrees of separation, makes more sense than Fahrenheit's (with a mild fever) of using human body temperate as the 100 point
I am the last of a dying breed with it comes to the metric system and the old imperial measurement system. here we changed over in 1978, I believe, and now, some 42 years later only the metric system that our young people know and practice. I am percetly comfortasbl;e bouncing back and forth between the two systems, but even at this later stage of my life fish will always be measured in pounds and inches, and beer will forevermore be in pints!
not that I'm really invested in the argument either way
know the first four letters but cant get the last 3
uh, ****-up rage + meth***. horrible clue
got it hokie ty
2.54 cm to an inch ~1.6km to a mile, 2.2lb to the kg
not a horrible clue
The gallon to litre measurement is more complicated, because it depends which gallon you use
cr 7 please?
fluid ounces is a curious one
BTW, when we were in Canada, the youngest was sick so the oldest & I bought a thermometer while we were out and then when I took his temp, it came up in C so then he had to convert it to F for me, while he had fever and chills.
do you know what the bumps are on castle walls nan?
yes, the american gallon has 3.78 litres while the old Canadian gallon had 4.11 litres.
nan, like burning a body but change a letter
or a notched edge of a leaf, nan

I can get by on distance based on knowing a 5k race is 3.1 miles, but I don't like to do it.
it's really weird driving a car in Canada because you look down and the speedometer makes you panic until you realize it's km per hour
lol. I think cars for the U.S market have the MPH on the outrside of the display and the Kph on the inside, and with the cars for the Canadian market it is reversed. Digital displays can be adjusted to display either one.
exactly
What does bother me is when I drive a beautiful classic car and I have to do conversions in my head constantly when driving. :)
drive a lot of those?

Have driven quite a few in my lifetime so far.

I don't reckon I've ever driven a car older than me
Not sure I have either for that matter
I've driven tractors older than me
my mom had a cool 70s Jeep Cherokee but my brother wrecked it before I was driving. still wasn't older than me though.
I don't reckon I've ever driven a tractor either
wait till you get behind the wheel of a Model A or similar vehicle. Many of them are gravity feed with the fuel tank, and you have to turn a inline valve, then retard the spark, set the throttle and choke, as well as a whole host of ther things we do not even think of anymore when starting a vehicle.
driven tractors, forklifts...hydraladders (aka cherry pickers)
boats
I think I have driven a car without power steering and that's a lot of work
lol - any cars older than me are in a museum :)
My Vega had manual steering and brakes. :)
I have driven boats!
I never knew a cherry picker had a real name
I drove a snowmobile once in Canada. I guess some little motorcycles and ATVs too, but that's it.
need to get some lunch - bbl
well, I've also driven our 40' motorhome
lol. I grew up in the north. Knew how to drive a Kitty-kat snowmobile and a 12 foot aluminum boat before I could ride a bicycle. :)
The boat, with a 9.9 hp outboard motor came more naturally than anything else. :)
I grew up in the appalachian mountains but was somewhat a "city" girl compared to my cousins that lived the farm life.
