Good evening all. Distinct Autumnal chill in the air here. The leaves are changing colour. I feel like I’ve been swindled out of Summer 2020. Pubs shut since March 12th. (Shock horror). Despite severe restrictions, the number of infections are rising daily. I’m sick & tired of Covid19. I’m weary of working from home. I’m missing my kids/grandson in the UK who can’t come home because of quarantining. I’m sorry for moaning.

but we were up to some 700 new infections perday and now down to below 50. Sad;ly it got into aged care homes this times so lots of deaths (for us)

Wasn't the case here but lack of PPE or incorrect use, plus caual staff who where working between facilities have been pinpointed. Plus it is just so damn infectious
Even though these sort of pandemics have been expected for years, except for a few countries, no-one bothered to really be prepared for them.

It probably happened all over the world, but many banks here ga e mortgage breaks to their customers for the duration of lockdown. Many people had a few shillings saved for their annual holidays. The result is that people have a bit more cash in their pocket at the moment, and there’s not a tradesman to be got Who’da thunk?
