You're welcome.

hello haz!
Hello TO, how are you?
hanging in there. and you?
Yes, trying to keep on top of things. We're restricted in meeting up in homes, not allowed into restaurants etc so am meeting my sister tomorrow (after 8 weeks) and having a picnic in our cars.
We're going to get takeaway from a coffee shop, then either have a walk or a look around town, all weather dependent of course.
that's lovely. i was just tellig someone i had not seen family since Christmas and thanksgiving is not looking good either.
went to the hairdresser yesterday and she said her aunt and uncle and grandmother all had it. he works from home so no idea how
I think everything here is geared towards getting figures down enough that people can have Christmas, but probably not in as big family groups as normal.
Our hairdressers were closed for 4 weeks, another week's extension just put on. My fringe is creeping nearer the point where I just do a little judicious trimming myself.
ive spent the last 7 months either isolated or quarantined. had it for 5 months before that. i hope ya'll stay safe
ours were closed march to at least mid july
However, we are fine, just looking for things to be a little brighter over Christmas.
atl, you had the virus?
The first domestic Christmas decorations have started appearing. It's always startling.
yes. i had it before they knew what it was.
three days ago i saw the first tv ad for it.
i hope you have recovered well. what state if you don't mind sharing? if not, i understand.
The local council had put up the trees a couple of weeks ago, thought better of it, took them down again and now they're back.
oh my! the ones going up here are the huge public ones, like rockefeller center.
florida. once i was well for a month, i left and moved away. there's no sort of control there. tough to get tested there
i have friends on west coast who say it's not rampant there. they are out and about.
i still get out of breath easily, but its getting better
Are you fully recovered Atl? No lingering side effects?
im young.
ihave elderly family in west palm, though, and one was taken back to NJ by family who feared she would die there alone.
Question asked and answered!
sounds as if you had a bad time of it, atl
glad you are on the mend.
I went to Tampa in Jan. and had something about a week later that was very suspicious. Not sure when it was in FL.
carla, did you get an antibody test?
luckily i didnt have to be hospitalized, but my family was afraid i'd keep getting sick or get reinfected. so i moved 1000 miles away
wow, atl. rough time.
thanks
are you ok carla
the other day i was out and for the fitst time forgot and rubbed my allergy itchy nose. now i am counting the days. it sucks.
no, I may do it soon even though they may not still be there this long.
I am fine.
I have non-allergic rhinitis year round, so just more of the same.
ooh, gotta go. TTFN
was minimally exposed to first area cases in March and sweated it out. i am not young
except at heart :)
:D
so you were east coast/south i surmise.
They published a list of the order in which people would be vaccinated here, I didn't know whether to be pleased with my position on the list or not.
i hear that, haz! :D
Not at the top, not at the bottom but I'm definitely not priority no 1.
logistically, it's going to be tough.
my sister is an epidemiologist. she says to stay positive and always be ready for a lockdown in usa
health care workers will be first, then the "elderly"- whatever the definition of that is.
yep
It certainly is, I assume they will do it the same here as for the seasonal flu jab, each GP practice being responsible, then again, it's a much bigger number.
over 60 is the elderly TO
"essential workers" is a very loosely defined term around here
that sounds very wise. i am sitting here in my slicker getting ready to head out tofind this week's elusive product- scrubbing bubbles.
Here it will be care home residents, health workers, over 80s, coming down in rank with age but underlying conditions puts you higher.
2 words left - one G and one upper T. one is 5 and one 4.
i usually stock up of large heavy or bulky items in winter anyway.
Are scrubbing bubbles for body or laundry?
but have limited freezer space. that's concerning
got the t5!
it's bathroom spray cleaner. last week it was lysol for actual toilet cleaning, pardon my topic if you are breakfasting. i had to got o costco and now i have over a year's worth. not by choice.

I know, life is pretty samey these days. Still, we're up and taking refreshment so that's a bonus.

I see the Indian Festival of Lights is in this one...appropriate given that it's today
and done...
i think it's tomorrow, not today. that's what my computer's built-in calendar says...?
Hurshy is correct as usual. It is the time of year to celebrate the light, as darkness falls.
If Divali canwin against demon spirits and a demon king, I hope my friendls celebrating it achieve their aims.
What does that mean Jac?
