My husband is doing a clinical trial. He has to monitor the effects of a vaccine, or placebo, for two weeks. He thinks he got the real shot because he didn't feel well the next day. And he had a cold, so these people came to the house in HAZMAT suits to check on him.

I walk with friends. 3 friends have had their husbands die recently so once in a while we chat about the tidal ebb & flows of emotions. I had friends over after the election and we sat out side bundled up and drank champagne.

Hey, has anyone in the US decided to follow the suggestion of having Thanksgiving in July (or some other time when there is maybe a bit more to celebrate, e.g. a vaccine)?
some kind of party when this pandemic is over -- yes -- probably not going to call it thanksgiving though
I think the idea was to avoid having a big celebration now that could make things worse.
I know many people can't imagine skipping Thanksgiving, but maybe postponing is a bit more palatable.
