bea, i keep a small jar of peanut oil handy and brush the tray with it to keep food from sticking. (and don't use PAM in it - it'll corrode the non-stick coating)
there are some "safe" sprays to use, but the oil brushing works for me

I did that the other day - was going a short distance between two places I needed to wear a mask and didn't want to risk cross-contamination when taking the mask off/on.

From my hands, the supermarket and other shops I'd been in and out of during the first few stops. I used sanitizer but was aware that the mask was likely to be off and then back on within a short a period of time. Yep - didn't want to touch and then touch stuff in my parents house
I had a mammogram last week and they made me remove my homemade cloth mask and put on a disposable they had. I asked the lady which side was out and which in and she put her hands all over it. then when she was checking me in we were sitting aobut 2' apart and she was coughing into her mask.
COVID doesn't spread that way, but my new mantra is "whatever makes people feel safe"
but she grilled me on whether I'd been tested, had symptoms, etc., and I assume they are tested regularly but who knows.

People in the shops weren't keeping social distance, there was coughing and sneezing - which made me think it likely the mask had viral particles on the outside. Hence the decision not to touch until I was home.

well, just looked up on CDC, type 2 does, but type 1 may have increased risk. I think he is type 1 but it was a weird case (he was 27 when diagnosed so they weren't sure at the time). anyhoo, he is being extra precautious.
The UK has diabetes as a comorbidity as well.

Obviously it depends on how well managed the diabetes is. But I kind of give up. Everyone is a doctor or a COVID specialist these days.
I know he gets the flu shot every year too because he's a high risk for complications of that too. I do think he manages it pretty well. has been almost 30 years since diagnosed.

I do not think I was exposed.They would've notified me if they thought I was exposed. It was 2 cases in my building

It was the first pa 5/12 word. Refused to ask for clue 4 it
my pa5 was the time off for good behaviour, without the final vowel. it means something quite different to what i expected.
my last word was the so7. nearly fainted from embarrassment when i found it. it was so obvious but i had my babble blinkers on... loll
That one was hard for me too. It is a twisty babble word.
Any guesses for the next grid size? My guess is 105 words.
