yeah, my brother told me about the no pain killers, and my mom left her papers behind at the place and didn't know, but she has so much pain from her osteoarthritis in her back she has to take it every day.

interesting re: pain killers. My FIL got his shot yesterday and no one said anything, or to my MIL before hers in December. The thought with vaccines is that you WANT the inflammatory response, that's what builds the immnuty. Which is why you shouldn't give children tylenol or similar before their shots
as an Army brat, we had to take shots a LOT.. every time we moved.. and my sister fainted every time
when I broke my wrist they told me not to take advil but I could take tylenol, something to do with it interfering with your body's response to the break.
I'm terrible with needles and blood draws.
