Can anyone give me the stats, or a clue for the 9 & 10? Is it a 9/10 combo?
cr: to nit pick
It's a 6/9/10 combo. In the Muppet Show, Statler and Waldorf were cr6(s) - they constantly cr10 (british spelling)
Thanks ItalianGreyhound

Am I likely to use the EC7 in regular conversation?
Not usually Matty

Happy Easter. Lindt chocolate eggs and champagne in the PB for all.
Thx, Molly!
Interesting that INRI is in the grid today. It is what was inscribed on the cross of Jesus. The Latin abbreviation for IÄ“sus NazarÄ“nus, RÄ“x IÅ«daeÅrum: Jesus the Nazarene.
I see it
Tx Greyhound :-)
Clue for si7 please?
DEFI
This game make me feel so stupid, and BOOM- 2 seconds later I'm a genius! :) Happy Easter everyone.
We are more genius when we find an odd word we know from here that non-Babblers don't know.
Yep. Although I do hate when they have no definition. Had several this week.
I have trouble remembering the definitions.
I do too, probably because I'm mid-game and just look for the heck of it.
If I don't use the word in conversation or writing I forget the meaning.
Yes...no practise.
My youngest is graduating nursing school this month Scrabbler. She's going to work in NICU.
That's great Champ. My daughter in law is a NICU nurse. Very challenging work.
I have frequent NICU nightmares. NICU nurses ROCK!
She's excited about it!
It is extremely meaningful work; she will form close relationships with parents. Some premies stay in the NICU for 4+ months.
I imagine. She's going to be at the county hospital in Houston.
Texas Children's?
Happy Easter to those who celebrate it. 99 words is very disappointing

hey scrabs, did you see my baby bunny cakes?
I do now. Very cute. I have a guest bunny for 3 weeks while his family is in Florida. His name is Giacomo Coniglio.
That a big name for a bunny!
Coniglio = Rabbit. Giacomo = James or Jacob.
I have Italian friends who named their son Giacomo. They call him Jake.
ogt the 910
Yes.
Much easier when translated.

Easter, Passover and Ostara (Pagan celebration of Spring) all fell on the same day this year.
Nope, I'm wrong. Ostara was in March and Passover ends today
That's cool!
The Easter cheddar chive rolls are out of the oven and it smells good in here.
well, I'm a bit stuck at 20 left. guess I will start some cooking.
Enjoy your bunny embyos.

thanks, I made some new ones yesterday
so adorable
My grandmother used to make lamb for Easter dinner until my sister (5 at the time) ruined Easter dinner by saying "You mean we're eating a little baby lamb???"
Name that proper noun...character in Ghostbusters
when is Easter dinner? afternoon or night? in the mountains we had breakfast, dinner, and supper. My grandmother used to say dinner for lunch all the time, but my mom and her generation don't really.
We use dinner and supper for the evening meal. Usually dinner though
I do use supper for evening meal most of the time, but not dinner for lunch.
From what I just read, Emily Post is responsible for changing the evening meal to dinner instead of supper.
But good old breakfast has always been breakfast.
interesting
"sunday dinner" was always at my grandmother's house after church.

btw, I decided it's too early to cook.
but I still haven't found any new words
finally...top row gray!

is si7 a regular word?
ends in alternate sp of night
ok, thx
sink your teeth into it?
I have 2 7's and 6 6's out of 13. that is not good.
because it's related to the name of a particular tooth
oh i'm ok on 6s, i have 12
keep working at it mlf you'll put a dentin it eventually
ot the one i am thinking of isnt in the grid
the tooth isn't in the grid, it's just the same root word
ok ty hurshy will work on it i got to go poof
the in6 means to cut into
Good morning everyone - Happy EAster :)
i need DIG SECT now
happy easter, nan
I have G TT F CC i EE DD SS
howdy nan
there's a babblet se6/18 hokie
hmm...
When someone says "related to" it means a word LIKE by not EXACTLY that word
one would think that would be clear, would one not? :D
I always take "related to" as meaning it is another form of the word with similar meaning
I usually clarify "related to x (not in grid)" to avoid exactly that situation :D
name that proper noun! Dame Judi
dench
dench
ding ding ding!!!
iss there an l babblet that I am missing? missing one l and all so far are regular words
perhaps you need li5/14
it's ic5/14 and I can't find it

I went to the list and this is still hard. only one word so far that I should have gotten
have le 5/14 all the rest are li's so far
cnan did you see my suggestion? maybe you need li5/14.
too le5, too le5 to quit
yes, li5/14 was my last L

all Li but the one LE
li 5 - the nut?

yeah, you should totally be smug about getting lucky
"have you never known the triumph of a lucky guess?"
I'm always smug when I get lucky
fstill waiting for that clue :)
yeah, he's apparently not going to help us. part of the smugneess.
i think everyone should get lucky :D

this grid is giving me grief for a tiny grid
wow, was seeing that when I looked it up but couldn't see the pl in the grid somehow, thanks.
smaller is not better in grid size
this one gave me a lot of grief
smaller is not better in most things hokie
except for debt
true
so... I think I've mentioned my indoor/outdoor cat (age 15.5) but I don't know that I mentioned she's a longhair black cat... also, that when there is not inclement weather her favorite perch is in the live oak tree (out of the range of the dog). This morning she has a patina of yellow/green on her head from pollen. Glad she doesn't get hay fever. (My random thought of the morning, lol)
smaller would be better in height of grocery store shelves. I either have to climb on bottom shelf or ask a stranger to help me.
we don't have the yellow coating everything yet. I'm sure it'll be in the next week or so.
Carla, I'm 5'6" and have to do the same. Totally agree!
maybe she was a bee in a past lifetime amelu
you're tall! I'm under 5'4". and I'm surprised when a tall person sees me struggling to reach something and doesn't offer to help.
you're a munchkin hokie
I know. I wasn't even taller than my mom until she started shrinking.
It's been here with a vengeance for 3-4 weeks. I haven't seen it this bad in quite some time... why I buy dark colored vehicles is a mystery... the weather has been so nice that I really want to take the top off of my jeep but I'm afraid of the eternal clean-up if I do, lol.
ru, could have been! She loves the azalea bushes (sans dog)
am learning what it is like not to be able to reach -- I swear they are making shelving higher -- I know the kitchen cupboards are higher (new code is that they must be hung 18" above the level of the stove top) and I have shrunk 1.5"
I used to be over 6' tall but i've shrunk a bit (I call it compressing)
oh that sounds much better, ru :D
I have to use a step stool in the kitchen if I want anything out of the upper cabinets.
my mom was about 5'6" and now she's way shorter than me. I think she's probably 5'1" or 5'2" now.
definitely compressing. sometimes I feel like I need to do a Barney Fife and stretch from the neck down, lol
knew you'd figure it out sooner or ladder hokie
my mom was the same
my friend swears she got taller from yoga and pilates
I used to be 5'8"
my mom is under 5' 3"
my older brothers were like 5'11" and 6'. not sure if they are still that. I just ended up short somehow.
Fw!!
grats une
