Well, it depends on how you define a babblet. I think the original thought was that it was a word that appeared regularly in the grid, but almost never in real life. Nowadays, the label seems to be applied to any unusual word.
It probably would be classed as a babblet by both camps.
I have seen et4 in crossword puzzles.
I kinda agree. to me babblets are strange little words that defy definition, at least to me

French tailoring experts who play babble would say it's a commonplace word and is not a babblet. I don't know if we have any of them!
