Taming the wild beast-dog I adopted is first on my list. Hopefully some travel. And doing more painting.

Mostly impressionist. In acrylic. I am branching out into a more abstract style.
interesting....i started taking Zoom classes in watercolor painting during the pandemic....my next class will be in January.....the fall class is being held in person and I won't be doing that one...
Watercolor is so challenging. It just sort of does it's own thing for me :D
lol....it is but I really like my instructor....and the materials are easily put away when I am not painting....
some of my stuff has been abstract as well....and some more realistic...
My watercolors are very abstract in the "what the hell is that" sort of way :D

When more people get vaccinated. Okay, the vaccine has been around for a long time, is readily available and free, What is the hold up?
There are several holdups. There are those who [claim they] won't get it until the FCC approves it for non-emergency uses. Some say it's against their religion. (Wonder what religions are against it.) Some think it's a liberal hoax. Then you have my mother...I don't know what her deal is...she was a nurse for 50 years and keeps finding excuses to not get it...every time someone has a bad reaction to it, still gets COVID after getting it, etc.
But anyway...as a dog person, I'm offended that this puzzle does NOT recognize "peesha" as a word.
i think the main holdup for a lot of low-key worriers about the vaccine is that everything is invisible. getting covid is invisible, and not an immediate consequence of anything. maybe you just won't even get it. our instincts are not well suited for this kind of danger. but a shot is an actual thing that you DO, that you know you did, that you have to go out of your way to do. so that seems (but isn't) riskier.
(maybe my namesake needs to drop some hint to GET THE JAB to OWN THE LIBS)
And for those who think that the government / Bill Gates / whoever is planting microchips in the stuff (despite the fact that the smallest microchip in the universe is still too big to fit through the syringe the COVID vaxes use), wouldn't it be just all that more logical to get the vax? After all, the more of us have that microchip, the harder it will be for them to keep up with all of us!
