:)
my thanks, too. but I knew you'd find it, so I'm not surprised! "If you call it, it will come"
so you're prescient too
only about prescience
you mean prescience or introduction to chemistry?
Oddly, it's both
hello everyone
hi, nan
Hi Nan
Hi nan
good find, rain
Thanks Nan
Ooooh I see the 10 letter word. Exciting.
rain knew the 10 before the flip, from what I understand
anyone find the lone o on the left?
That must make the grid kind of boring, if you know all the words in advance.
yep - our resident soothsayer
an 005 babblet, nan
ty freep
nbt, nbs and 43 for tomorrow. Goodnight everyone
g'night
oo 5,12
cardio???
ca7 x 2
You can actually make AEIOU in order. It's not a word, but it amused me
Aha.
This grid has too many vowels.
It's kind of amazing that there can be a ten letter word with 15 vowels in the grid
That suffix that's in there really helps....
OMG, I found the 10 by myself.
But I am missing 13 4's and 22 5's
I'm still missing two 7s and three 6s (and a bunch of fours and fives)
I still need biggies.
Do you have any ab- words?
Yep, two. A 'normal' 6 and a weirdish 5
Oh, I see bo5 and ab6 now. Clue for the weird ab5?
a + a word for a great favour?
A great favour?
Yeah - an old fashioned word for a great, good thing, as it were.
I got it now. TY.
You are most welcome!
36 left. Maybe I will return tonight. I need to work today.
Good luck - enjoy!
This would be a better grid with an S or 2
16 vowels? Really??
good morning! :)
Hey, monkey!
HI, French and Bea
Good morning, IG.
iggy!
bzzzzz!
bzz i'm going to try that risotto recipe!
that sounds heavenly
Ah, it is 16. Sorry for the miscount earlier. Numbers and I don't do well until at least two cups of coffee are down.
Hi, Molly
just found the 10
WTG iggy!
Thx
hint pls?
ends in the little particle
and follows MA 4/6 & 5/14
What you do to fruit to make it ready to put on cakes and such
thx, Bea - didnt know that
oh nice, thank u both
OK need to get ready for the Blackjack tables, iggy see u there?
see you at check-in
FW! Have great day!
Same here...Until next time.
hello

phantom for me today: attrition
phantom: abode
or titration
didn't michael jordan outair everyone else?
guess not, but usain bolt did ou7 them
iota
yeah, have that one
gah
phantom: tuition
not seeing the 2nd row A's. have 2.
i have: ae8, ai5, 4, ar7, 4, 4, 5, at5
there is no second row a
really? mine has one in the 4th col
I go left to right not top to bottom
rows are across, columns are up and down
that doesn't matter in grids, rows are horizontal and columns are vertical
that's fourth row a ;D
that's just kind of the accepted definition
you can't change basic math
do you even spreadsheet, bro?
that's funny I like to be horizontal
hope you didn't miss my little list of 8 A words there hokie
I did. have 5 now, thx. boy, I really wasn't seeing them.
well, I knew some form of that AE had to be here
what about the LEFT A, i only see ae4
you mean the first column a ?
:D
yep
ab 5 and ab6
ab6/27 ... to get on a boat
ty, got the 6
got the 5 now too
... ae ... long period of time
how about the 4th row O?
on 4/5
ahh thanks, silly me!
yiu're never silly hurshy!
um, silliness is one of my top values in life, so i hope you're wrong there, lol
I know that meaning
you're not silly for not seeing something.
sorry if I was confusing. Back to finsh the last couple.
i know, you weren't confusing, i just had to banter
what's the 10?
good morning all :) JUst finished reading the chat - still missing 2 from that top a - not seeing the ar 7
ma 10
ar7 is place in Greece, where Pan was said to dwell in legend
not a clue, hurshy
it is so!
lol
it starts like a place where kids would go to play pinball and other games
thank you for the 10
4-4-2-2
how many points in that ar 7 please?
36
ty hurshy
Nan, there is a place called ar7 in Nova Scotia
And cities all over the US by the same name
we like Pan
only been to NS once and that wasn't one of the places we went. We were only there for 5 days and we lost one of those days to Hurricane Dorian
phantom: thou
"We"? I see Hurshy's other personalities have come out to play.
"we" meaning "people in the US", because they named places ar7
down to 20 - almost half of them are c's
cardio should be accepted along with all the other prefixes that are accepted as words
change that last vowel
and then latin plural it, also
ty hurshy
ty again - my last 7
It is a good thing that no one's name is in the grid today because we would risk going to the PB for giving them the sparkly crown
lol - was thinking that too, molly, when I found it
but we're so close to having boatierra, just a swap of the position of top A and right E would do it
And I am betting you are the only one who noticed that
well if boatierra plays today i probably wouldn't be, lol
back after breakfast for the last 12
stats for right and left column Os pls
oc 5, ou 7, 5 and oo 5
hello....
hoot
oops...
hi pen
nm - we had it
bowing to the babble gods and heading to the list
Okay, everyone is a "we" today.
dang french words!
I wasn't using the royal we, Molly -- I think a lot of us had that as our first word
for sure... ;o)
I thought Pen was just expressing her inner Scot : D
heh heh....
*!*~*!* any clues wanted before I leave?
congrats....
i am still plodding along, thanks....
ok bye :)
hagd everyone
bye...
Oh, all the plodding that goes on here. It's like Plod Central.

bbl
you're on a roll!....
i am done...
Morning, all
hi joy...
How's life, penquis? BTW, thanks for your advice about Maine. I had a great time there. It's so beautiful!
doing ok here....glad you enjoyed your trip....what did you like best?
Just watching the water...the house we rented was right on the water, in a cove, with lots of birds. Also eating lobster every day. Plus some beautiful hikes.
great...
I guess ratrace is really two words
yes, i tried that, too... ;o)
my cousin from NJ was here with his wife and grown daughter about ten days ago....they stayed in Bath but only for a couple days....All his wife and daughter wanted to do was to eat lobster every day... ;o)
I'm going to list...30 words left, including 3 sevens but I'm not seeing a thing
i listed at 16, i think...ran out of patience...
Yeh, after a while it gets boring trying to find the last dozen or two words
yes....some grids it happens earlier and on some later....and it depends on how I feel...
And then some grids I give up on...
i rarely give up...too OCD for that... ;o)
LOL
I try not to be compulsive about solving, but sometimes I just have to finish, even if I'm not really enjoying myself.
I can understand coming to Maine just to eat lobster, although it is possible to get lobster where I live, at twice the price.
we took him to Five Islands which is near Reid State Park....very nice lobster shack....beautiful views on three sides...
Sounds nice. We didn't make it very far out of Harpswell, because it was so beautiful there.
yes, it's a nice place....and the drive down that peninsula is nice...
Although we did stop in Freeport on the way home to go to LLBean, and we stopped in Kennebunkport for clam strips.
What blew the chat?
I am wondering why my chat box is "broken"....seems chopped off a little, yet I don't recall anyone posting a long link...
i was wondering the same thing, Molly....
Kennebunkport was way too crowded and touristy and cutesy for me
it's funny, Joy....i had fried clams at Five Islands and asked if they were whole clams before I ordered them....don't like just strips... ;o)
Yes, I noticed that. When you type it scrolls over to the right and then stays there. You have to scroll it back to the left.
I prefer whole clams, but my partner likes clam strips. We had a hard time finding clam strips, actually.
southern Maine has very nice beaches but it is quite touristy....not my cup of tea either....i am in the midcoast.....north of where you were....
well since he likes them, I am glad you found some....
My partner is a she...we are the all-girl house, one daughter and even the cat is a she. A noisy little she.
Joy's post at 12:30. First sentence is long with no spaces
That many characters without a space will do it
Uh oh, I broke the chat. Does that put me in the PB?
doesn't seem so long...she did have punctuation...
maybe it was mine at 12:48....sentences separated by dots, so no spacing....
Punctuation doesn't matter. It's something like 28 characters without a space that will blow it.
No matter, it will flush soon
Mine is back to normal now.
What makes it change back, I wonder?
well my dots left no spaces...
I will have more ca7,36 next time.
you can change it by just posting nonsense until the problem post disappears....
I'm good at posting nonsense!
Anyway, bbl. I want to go to the Farmer's Market before noon.
bye joy...
hmmm...it seems to have fixed itself and neither post we thought caused it has passed through....
just read that my county is 90% vaccinated....
heading out...bye all....*waving to the lurkers*....
My daughter (in Orono) is always bragging!
(about the level of vaccinations)
I read the news for laughs these days. Now, un-vaccinated people are blaming vaccinated people for the upsurge in COVID cases. The logic eludes me.
when young kids start dying of Covid in Florida i hope they put DeSantis in Jail.. what an asshole
Une,be a good southern Mother and tell her that bragging is unbecoming for a lady. : D
Reading about the serious spike of pediatric COVID cases is disturbing
Great tennis in Cincinnati, Ru!
Any clue for the CR8?
Causing to exsist.
Causing to exist
when god made the earth and such jean
(if you believe in that kind of thing)
Please forgive my typos.
I'm sorry Zooz.. I just cannot forgive you for your typos :D
With all my different ingredients a cake was made. It was my cr8
Aww, Ru and I thought we were babble friends! haha!
Bonce not allowed then haha!

congrats, FrenchToast!
this is a difficult for me vowel-heavy grid.
just missing the 2nd row O
found both 8s!
I just remembered that I never finished this grid. I'm stuck on the CA5,14
and the CE5,12
ty for those 2.
ca5 ends in 2 con and a vowel
ce5 is kind of a babblet
sounds like a middle eastern country
ca5/14 = military personnel term
ty, of course now it's obvious
which one sounds like a middle eastern country?
stats for the 2nd row O please?
ce5.
think damascus.
I think that was the OU7,36
I have another ou7/36
ok, got the CE and the CA, thanks!
are there 2?
Oh, right that was a different O. 2nd row is the OO5,12
ty! nbt
29 to go. it's late. I'm listing.
not seeing the OC5
oc5 ends with most of what one does to a book.
ty...never seen that word before.
done!
good night!
bye Harry and thanks
Fw!!
