I ordered a a wallet sized birth certificate before one of our trips and someone in some unknown office left the hyphen out of my middle name. It cost me $75 and a one month delay to get it changed back Maybe our poor government was short of cash that year.

My friends son is named Ike...his birth certificate said Ira, they didn't realise till it was time to enrol him in school. Luckily the got a great person at Births, Deaths and Marriages who changed it for free.
