Hey, monkey. HOw's the beach?
Helloooo!
Gorgeous!
Heading home today
iggy!
What beach are you on?
Sunset Beach
NIce beach there.
I have friends with houses on 33rd, 36/37th, and 38th. we put an offer on one last weekend but didn't get it.
We usually got to The Crystal Coast.
Yes very nice there too!
Would you live there year round, Carla?
I've stayed in Beaufort before
I want to go back to Sunset in Nov-Jan sometime, to see what it'slike in the winter
iggy are you having some oatmeal today?
We loved staying at the beach in Jan. We used to stay the entire month.
neglected to get any from the store
the memory is the first thing to go lol
very funny
teehee
think Ill have groceries delivered, including oatmeal
i'm going to make some scrambled eggs now :)
my one friend has a girl's trip in Jan, and I love it that time of year
oh good idea, iggy!
I thinking about grits.
no, we wouldn't, bea. mr. homie has to be near his mt. biking.
Of course.

hi all.
coffee time. bye!
French where is Sunset Beach
Hello,, peri
She might have gone to breakfast, peri. It is in NC just about in SC.
ok thanks
yes, just north of North Myrtle Beach
yes i was making some scrambled eggs... Sunset Beach is southern tip of NC, about 38 miles from Myrtle Beach SC
it's so nice because it's an island separated by the Intercoastal Waterway and not commercialized at all, just houses on stilts.
yes i love that hokie! It's very retirement-oriented, lots of golf courses nearby.
also know a couple more couples who live off-island there
yes i have a handful of high school friends who live nearby, some in Calabash, and some in Leland.

Oops.
hi Judi
omg laughing at your profile pic, that's hilarious
Thanks, FrenchToast. I'm quite fond of it.
i need to change my pic back to a tall stack of buttered french toast :)
I like your chicken recipe in your profile. I'm a cilantro lover.
oh wow have you tried it? It's amazing, i ususally make a BIG batch, and freeze small portions. Then when I'm craving a taco , I can defrost a single portion.
Haven't made it but will give it a try for sure.
I love how easy it is.
Fun fact: French Toast is usually called eggy bread over here.
Another fun fact: You can make your own taco seasoning. It is much better than the packaged kind.
yes I know this! I lived in Gerrards Cross for about 4 years in the 1960s. I went to school at High Wycombe RAF base.
Well, of course it is, Matty. lol
I make my own chili sauce for brisket.
ooh Harry would you consider posting that recipe in your profile? Sounds yummy
My father in law was British and he ate French toast with salt and pepper instead of maple syrup.
Oh, that's a violation.
need to get going! HAGD all
His explanation was that it is scrambled eggs and bread and you put salt and pepper on scrambled eggs don't you?
There's a place we go to that makes brioche french toast with caramel apple sauce. To. Die. For.
Anything that involves caramel is a home run for me : D
posted the brisket recipe
I am overgenerous with the spices - you may wish to be more conservative
Ap7/32 clue please?
That sounds delish, Harry.
ends in a large continent, une
good morning all - is anyone else having trouble connecting to expert this morning>
Ack, waste of a good beer though : D
I don't eat meat, but my family likes it :)
yes molly - I generally share the beer with myself while I'm cooking
I just monkied the ap7/36, but I don't know what it means.
my daughter has a friend who always comes over when we're having brisket.
Ah, very Justin Wilson of you Harry
Your brisket has a fan following.
(had to google justin wilson)
ah just had a brainstorm of Ms. only missing 1 now.
A fan following? Does it have a facebook page? Are people giving it a thumbs up?
That brisket needs to make a Tik Tok video.
Judi - it means failure of an organ to develop or function properly. A doc I used to work for used the term quite often and nosy me, I had to look it up.
I wouldn't have the first notion of how to go about that. But first it should have a twitter page.
grr. thought I found shpiel(s) but it doesn't take it
I think it's just spiel
Well, I have to toss in the towel with 47 left in the bucket. Y'all have a very nice day. I'll see you tomorrow. *POOF*
bye judi.
26 here.
but now I'm singing laverne and shirley
very tough going.
funny how Lenny became this big time actor and director, and Squiggy kind of faded into oblivion
Kind of like Bill becoming Keanu Reeves, and Ted, not so much.
not sure what is going on -- stats are not in proper format, cannot connect to expert and I'm not sure that I am even visible.
yeah
I see you
I see you nan
sounds like maybe a connection issue on your end
I'm sure you've tried refreshing
nan....i just tried to open Expert and it seems to be fine...
Or even Laverne and Shirley - did Shirley ever do anything afterward?
yes -- will log out and back in
I don't do expert so I can't speak to that
yeah, I don't think cindy williams did a lot after that.
I saw carmine in something
the big ragu!
and laverne's dad had a career afterward.
that's better
and his girlfriend too. can't remember her name
irene?

ok - thought you did use lickety's list when stuck carla
just googled squiggy....he died last year of MS....
oh how sad.
IIRC, L&S was a spinoff of Happy Days after Shirley went on a date with Richie? he is way different that Carmine.

Tx for ap7 Harry!
I think there was a double date but I don't rem. if it was Potsie or Ralph

(Hopes dauber never moves to Wales)
Ru, one word for you...scatologist!!
hi again
Nan, brief chat chuckle. When Joan Rivers was 80, she was asked in an interview if she exercises. She replied, "If God wanted me to bend down, he would have put diamonds on the floor" : D

Different second vowel

Don't think I know what that means
I'm always so excited when I remember to find words like tm6.
i'm always so excited when I stick my head in and someone mentions a word I would never have remembered.

Fireworks! Happy babbling everyone!
Congrats zoom!!

(that's the 36)

is the 32 immediately after the 36?
yes it's the last ap word
Clue from this morning...the other one ends in a large continent
thanks Molly that's firewords!
ah, sounds medical, thanks. and well done, dan!
Clicking on the question mark next to the word gives you the definition. "defective development or congenital absence of a limb, organ, or other body part"
37 left after first pass. can I make to 200 words found?
yes, I read the def. after I pondered about it. reminds me of hip problem word that retrievers and such get.

I've been trying to finish the grid all day, but my job keeps insisting I have to do work
how rude
I know. They think that just because they pay me money they can dictate what I do all day.
ridiculous!
I shouldn't complain, since my job is fairly interesting. But Babble is more interesting!
Hmmm. There's a famous soccer star in this grid. Seems like a proper noun to me.
yes, I've always wondered about that one but never looked it up
well that was a waste of time
If you look it up you just get the soccer star.
that's what I was getting at with waste of time
I was in Brazil once and I was amazed how popular he was. There was an article in the Sunday paper once that was just "**** at home." Just an article about how he spends his day, his house, etc. IOW nothing newsworthy.
lol
just found the car that was a famous flop. wish it was a word since I can't find my last E up there
Sadly, it is a Middle English form of peel
that is sad. that there is middle english on enable.
ooh, top row gray!
Lots of Middle English crap accepted by Enable. They are word nerds of the highest level.
well, I finally looked up the ea4 that we have all the time to see why it can't be made plural. guess what, scottish adj!
ooh, bottom row gray!
There was a waiter named Edsel Ford Fong here in SF who was famous for being rude and weird, at a Chinatown restaurant called Sam Wo's.
🤣
wait a minute! There's a TM word!! How can that be!!! Words don't start with TM!!!!
I just monkeyed it, but seriously?
yeah, bea mentioned it earlier and I somehow remembered it.
did you read the def.? kinda funny.
yeh, the example they give is NOT the one I thought of.
fare thee well
I mean, I'm not leaving, just giving another example
or maybe not
really struggling with the last S
can I help, carla?
I have 2
I think one is sa6/21
There are 2 SA6,21
One is a plural of an SA4,5, a common word.
The other is a babblet, part of a 4/5/6 combo
The TM example I immediately thought of was "unf***ingbelievable."
I still haven't figured out what the other word I have from that S is. will see if I have any part of that combo.
weird, there's se4/5/6 I have that look like they have to come from the last s.
never mind, it's not a 4 with that 5/6, I need my glasses on 🤣. so those se5/6 have to be my 2.
sorry, I was off doing something else. Did you need clues? not clear from your comments
unclear ramblings from me, you say?🤣🤣
I'm going to go to the list, but thanks
I did find one more S there, so I finally got to at least half of each tile
ok, then I'm gonna go eat my dinner now. Good luck.
enjoy! thanks.

I can't remember if I told you that Lonnie died over the summer so I am one person business now.
oh, man, sorry to hear that
if you have any songbooks i might be interested
what kind?
the kind with lyrics and music in them LOL -- although if you want me to be more specific, popular music, showtunes, rock albums, country singers, folk songs, -- not so much the classical stuff
lol oh you music with that songbook. I do not have many songbooks online but if I find some as I am digging stuff out I shall email you. I mostly have sheet music.
i see -- yeah, i don't usually handle sheet music, though i have a small number for sale
we should trade. I do mostly movie sheet music
