How does that word relate to Halloween?
I haven't figured out how any of lyv4ever's Halloween words relate to Halloween. What am I missing?
This is the first time I've seen it. Must come in after I'm done.
well halloween is associated with death etc - and a scythe is associated with grim reaper - the words I put up are not real words but sound like the real word
previous words included skelatin and agast
What about lerk and seitan?

seitan = satan, I assume
I thought maybe it was related to the metal band Helloween, since that is how you were spelling it, but found no association.
lerk -= lurk? maybe? lol

you can play for free up to a certain level, but if you want the full game you have to have a game subscription.
I can imagine.... it's NYT. Newspapers have to make money in some way now.
thankfully you can do the game sub which also includes the crosswords and sudoku and some others, and you don't have to subscribe to the paper.
