we see my inlaws on a regular basis anyway (multiple times a week with the kids) so our christmas plans haven't changed. Both my MIL and SIL are nurses though, so it's been a tough month

He has had a booster. But he manages a restaurant and is likely exposed to people who have not been vaccinated.
Well,I will have my youngest, who lives with me. But I think he is getting tired of holidays that are just him and Mom. We will make the best of it. One thing is for certain. There will be PLENTY of beef tenderloin.

does anyone know current guidance on if you're boosted but still get SarsCov2?
like should you take another booster at that point to lessen the impact or wait until it runs its course?
the booster is not going to help once you have active covid
...I I haven't heard anyone suggest a fourth shot ... and once you've got it another shot isn't going to do anything for the illness
there are potential treatments that your doctor can recommend if necessary
... there are a couple of drugs that seem to be very helpful with lessening the symptoms but they seem to be ineffective against omicron

... there was a rumour of a third drug which was rumoured to be somewhat effective on the symptoms from omicron but it is apparently quite rare and hard to find ... .. it seemed to be something that didn't work for the earlier variants so they never made any more but turned out to maybe be effective for omicron
