yeah, our next door neighbor here in the early 2000s storm had a long driveway lined with Bradford Pears, which are the weakest tree around, and our bedroom was right next to it. all night we heard trees cracking and falling.

he worked two part time jobs at the time....he would go home between jobs to put wood in the franklin stove....this lasted almost three weeks as I recall....

my next door neighbors when I was a kid had a huge crabapple tree. my parents hated it because it dropped crabapples all over our driveway. my neighbor and I liked to gather them and do things like draw on the driveways with them like chalk 🤣
