it can only be made from that N so needs to incl the middle one I think

I believe it's to do with the spaces between letters, or possibly the width of letters in proportional fonts. I'd have to look it up to be sure though
I only know that from my work in a vinyl cutting software, but wasn't sure how common it is so that's why I said shortened piece of corn
