Ep7: the rear vestibule of a classical temple, as I’m sure you all knew.
Duh, Sue. That's...uh... that's why I didn't even call it. Just too obvious!
(thanks for giving me nbt before sleeeeeeep)
ha7, za7
thanks!
erne
I wonder what most people's first word will be?
ooper
I mean the top left, Mercy.
Sorry, my curser is jumping all over....Do you mean the co6?
cz4
Confused by the vestibule! Research gives me epinaos - clearly doesn't work!!
Hm.
Morewords shows a different last letter to your word, Alleyn, maybe plural?
ends in three vowels
Yes.
inner
hell!
TY.
Still stuck! Which e does it come from?
Done!
Bottom left.
Thx for the help
Yay. I must get ready for work soon I just want to pass halfway.
See you tomorrow. Enjoy the day.

NM :)
Peri, it's a4,5 and it's thatch made from palm fronds
am I just hungry? first thing I see is calzone. yes, I know there's no L.
Clue for ha7 please?
i never knew what that a4/5 meant, i just thought it was a babblet
it is... ;o)
it's not even listed at dictionary.com....

speaking of hungry, phantom: arepa
or rather, it's not a phantom, but not accepted
hello all
Ha7 please?
ep 7 has an Ancient Greek plural
ha 7/36 kind of sounds like where you throw dirty clothes
Tx luv!!
.. and za7 is a Spanish dance. gtg, Happy Babbling!
took me a while to spell it correctly
good morning all
hi nan....hello everyone else....
clue for th6 please?
greek buildings and spanish dances - this game is getting to be so frustrating, I'm not sure it's worth playing any more
it's no worse than it has been all along....;o)
sorry, don't have th 6 yet...
it seems like there are a lot more foreign and weird words than when I started playing 16 years ago
i don't think the dictionary has changed...
found a TH 6....th + you **** what you sow....
thanks pen
ty pen
yw...
i wonder how Judi is doing.. I haven't seen her in months.
haven't seen her either...
I bet she's run off to Cancun with MLF, Haz, and others and they're drinking margaritas on the beach
it's a nice thought...
hey all
good morning mael
hi mael
hi mael...
how is everyone?
I'm doing great.. a three day weekend for me wheeee
nice!
I am so very jetlagged
from going where?
today we finalize the adoption of our new dog, Lavender.
we went to Hawaii for spring break, it was great but brutally long travel
oh, hawaii... love it there
which island?
Welcome to the family, Lavender! :-)
congrats lindy
it's nice having two dogs.. a lot more fun
we brought her home 4 weeks ago as a foster-to-adopt, to make sure she fit will with our previous dog and 2 cats.
oh.. yeah i know that one.. every dog I've fostered I've kept too
we went to Maui, it was gorgeous
I love maui
I'd imagine Hawaii is getting busier now that many americans don't fly to mexico any longer
we were intending to keep her all along, assuming all went well. she loves the cats, one loves her, one tolerates her, same as they do the other dog.
is the bottom e that ep that is part of a greek building? --- absolutely no idea on that one, nor the spanish dance
yes that's the bottom e we've had that word a zillion times
the za 7 starts like the Mexican revolutionary and ends in two vowels....
hat are that stats, please?
*what
ep7/32
ouch :)
like the allergy needle unit and a babblet attached
it was super busy and we did pick it because we didn't want to travel internationally given covid :)
ty, ru...
good restaurants now on Maui too
ty ru -- will take your word for it that it has appeared before -- don't remember it my self
i remember it but don't think i have seen it all that often...
I see it all the time but I'm half greek.. maybe that's why I remember it
perhaps...
hello...may I have stats for the bottom A pls?
blank z and the a above it, but I've had enough of this miserable grid --- hagd everyone
ae6/18
ty mael
I'm not finding it to be miserable at all. I'm finding it to be an enjoyable challenge!
well i am down to 25 and need a break...bbl to finish...bye all....
phantom: operate
Oops, very close to a real word in the grid
24 left, HOET, bbl to finish but when ? have a great day all and take care - poof
Enjoyable challenge is probably the most positive phrase I have heard about a grid like this
I'm with cybernan - it's a miserable grid for me too
Clue for pa7 please?
pa7 - bicycle baskets
There's no s
and here I was thinking it was more like a pot ;)
Aahhh double letter....
Fw!!
Time on my hands -- hi all
Hi Gwen, I just got here, too. Can't stay long. And UNE is already finished! :)

nm
panini (phantom)
narnia

was it yesterday the grid had onyx and onyxes? I enjoyed typing those in, don't think I had ever done so before. (topaz made me think of it, haha) Cool letter combo.
phantom: parapet
Bea nm'd her clue ask for ep7...hahaha
anybody can clue the th6

za 6 please - I know it is a spanish dance, but that doesn't help
the 6? or the 7? the 6 is another word for nuttier
the 7 please?
hey nan, how goes it?
and hey rbud
and well done, dan, if you're still here
just tired hokie, but I will survive
the 7 is like the famous Mexican revolutionary but drop the last vowel and add two others.
thanks rbud
hang in there, nan
((((hugs)))), nan
you're welcome, hokie
Nan, our thoughts and prayers are with you and Mr.Nan
guess I don't know the mexican revolutionary
it's also spanish for shoe if I remember correctly
google "mexican revolutionary za"
I don't know any spanish
now you know how I feel with all the french all the time!
yes!
what happens if you stick your finger in an outlet + a preposition + end of old macdonald vowels
no, not exactly on the vowels
first and last of the old macdonald vowels
what happens if i stick my finger in an outlet is an expletive + another expletive + a bunch of exclamation points.
got it - ty carla
right, PJs
np, nan
hahaha!!! PJs! ;p
speaking of vowels, they are conspiring against me getting HOET
*!* thanks for the help :)
nice job
I thought the last of the old macdonald vowels were "I" and "O"
Agreed. But hokie carla said the first and last of them, and that works.
Unfortunately, it's one of those nights whenI am awake and waiting for the new gride at 6am. Does anyone need any clues for the current one?
Excuse typing errors etc., I'm not totally bright and breezy yet and in need of yet another new keyboard.
te6?
nm
LOL, you got it.
Cow Exploder - I sincerely hope you are a vet who lets gas out of cow's twisted stomaches!
Cows', I meant!
Every one done, I guess.
actually the idea came from rural countries in which cows fall off cliffs and block dirt roads
the fastest way to clear the roads in the absence of heavy machinery is to explode the cows
cowExploder - OUCH!
That's both messy and smelly!
but efficient
Yurgh! Who cleans it all up?
don't know, but probably the local wildlife
I thought same. Guess they do.
The wildlife in USA is probably faster at doing that than the wildlife in UK.
in the usa we never see dead birds
but some believe that's because birds aren't real, and that they're all drones spying on us
Yet, we do here in UK, especiallyif we have cats who bring tem into the house and present them to us as gifts.
my cat did that to me once when i was a kid, only it was in the middle of the night. i screamed and woke my parents
and my parents told me to praise the cat and not wake them up when i found a dead bird in my bed
