my lazy son who couldn't be bothered to study, to go school in time, get out of bed in time, clean up his room or even take his plate back to the kitchen... now did 4 years of study abroad, through the whole covid pandemie, juggling his relationship with his girlfriend long distance, and made it through with such amazing results. I am beyond proud.

I remember, i was still playing when you lost your beloved. Still not easy, I expect, to live without him. Yeah, I am better. Both my parents have died within 9 months of eachother, both needing to deliver a final blow through their testaments to me, and it has been tough working through that. But getting there. Must admit it is also freeing, that they are gone now.
I'm so sorry about your parents, but I understand. I had to work thru a lot with my mom.

my therapist made me realise I am finally feeling safe. Weird, how deeply it reaches when parents act maliciously and purposely hurtful. I am so grateful it has stopped with my generation, and our relationship with our kids is amazing.

greed has run rampant too. the housing market here has gotten out of control. We refinanced our house last year and the market value is obscene! I'm glad we aren't in the market to buy or sale. Rentals here are also crazy. one bedroom mostly a cheap motel room is going for over $1,000 USD per month. it's just greed.

been busy of late.. lots of tourists which is great. we have a huge rock concert here this weekend called BottleRock that brings a couple hundred thousand people to Napa for the holiday weekend
