i really missed a lot of easy ones, the cat drama this morning stressed me out so much

it is an issue we have sometimes, there is a stray cat that comes and stands on my deck/handicap ramp, and my boy cats want to kill it, but they can't get to it, so they redirect their rage at each other
happened around 7, then again around 10, but idk if the cat came back or if opie just was looking out remembering the earlier visit

the second time opie was attacking ME as i carried fritz off to be shut in the bathroom to separate them. luckily i have jeans on but he may still have drawn blood, i haven't looked

cats rarely hurt each other badly. a lot of it is show. it's displaced aggression.

very annoyed right now. amazon sent me a wrong item. I had to drive 20 min to a UPS Store to return their screwup. UPS scanned the QR code and it's not showing up as returned yet (it was 7 days ago). and there's no way to call or chat with a live human being anymore and the robots only give you canned questions and responses, none of which fit.
and that's why i will not use amazon, nobody know anything and NOBODY CARERS !!

Welki, I haven't heard that phrase since my Mom passed away. She worked with a travelling carnival in the 1960's every summer, while my brother and I were parked with other people. For years, I thought only carnival or theater folks said "Let's get this show on the road."
that is a neat story, but that I've heard that phrase all my life with no ties to any carnivals. maybe a regional thing.
not regional since I have heard it a lot over the years.....and i am in the Northeast....
One time when I was a teenager I heard my teacher say it to us when our class was going on a field trip. I actually asked her, "Did you used to work in a carnival?" Apparently it's a common phrase from that time, but I haven't heard it in years until welki said it. Brings back memories.
