first time I've tried this squaredle - it seems like maybe the letters are set up in advance to have interesting longer words? Otherwise this word I found is extremely unlikely to be in a grid, especially 4x4.
yes, there are some days where I notice a theme and have thought it's certainly not an accident
Also, all the letters are used, obviously, which is not always the case in Babble
If you get the bonus word of the day, that often gives you an indication of the theme, if there is one
I think maybe I did but dismissed a popup too quickly to be sure.
Oh, I see it, yeah, I did have it.
Too much clutter, too bad the whole interface isn't easily vislble at once.

I got an app on my macbook for it. gets rid of most of the clutter
Squardle is often very easy to complete, but some people(?) are able to get a ridiculous number of bonus words. It seems to use a bigger dictionary for bonus words than Babble.
it's basically regular words plus enable weird ones are bonuses plus a few more not on enable are bonus.

Indeed, a lot of them I've not seen before (good thing I tend to just type random stuff a lot of the time when looking)
A few "bonus" words work in Babble, so maybe they didn't use Enable as the basis?
Maybe some rival word list about the same size
ta7...for those who didn't find it... a picturesque grouping of persons or objects; a striking scene
The non-bonus words are supposed to be "ordinary" words, so it's easier to play for people who hate weird words
