9:49 am

I have 1-1-1-1 - 3xS 1xP

0-2-0-1 S H R

11:10 am

is there an SN word? or more than one SM?

11:14 am

nope

11:15 am

rats, that would have made it easy to tell which S i'm missing

11:16 am

se -5 sp -6 sw-7

11:16 am

looks like it'll be sp6

11:17 am

just to make sure I'm understood ... there were 6 sp words

11:17 am

ohhhh lol

11:17 am

then there is no sp6

11:17 am

and i am missing an SW

11:18 am

my last stubborn S was sw5

11:18 am

pa 7/40, pls

11:18 am

scoring the target amount on a golf hole, bichon

11:19 am

11:19 am

11:22 am

s + a w4

11:22 am

sw5/18. a county in NC I'm sure you don't know. 😜

11:23 am

well i have two sw5/18s and both are S + a w4 but maybe there is another cause those are normal words

11:24 am

do you need a 5 or soemthing else? there's a weird 6 that is a regular word plus a vowel

11:24 am

the one I'm talking about is a country lad or male lover .not a normal word for me but maybe since you read all those old set books it is for you.

11:25 am

i don't know what i need. yes ok i have that 5.

11:25 am

it was the 6 you just mentioned, thanks!

11:25 am

ok, then the sw6 is my guess

11:25 am

it's british similar to their word for whine

11:26 am

6 left now and done with 4s :(

11:26 am

0-1-4-1

11:26 am

WWHARF

11:28 am

looks like it

11:29 am

oh, you just need 1 5, you have wi5 then and prob need ra5/18

11:30 am

i have a ra5/18

11:30 am

ok, nm

11:30 am

i do also have a wi5/18

11:30 am

everything else in R is very normal

11:31 am

pa 6/21, pls

11:31 am

would have to be ra5 describing my weather today or ri6 which is someone you bring in on a team to be a secret superstar

11:32 am

bichon, that one sounds exactly like the pa7/32

11:32 am

bichon, if you have pa7/32 take a letter out of middle

11:32 am

ri6, that was it

11:33 am

oddly i have the parallel wi6 to that

11:33 am

i do that all the time

Hi everyone and happy almost Thanksgiving if you're in the U.S. I'm roasting chestnuts and caramelizing onions today.

11:53 am

Cranberry sauce and another pie made. Rolls tomorrow.

11:54 am

wine bought... ;o) .... hello all....

11:54 am

the most important part, penquis

11:54 am

my only part... ;o)

11:56 am

I ordered a meal up near my mom's but of course I have to make everything GF for myself but probably won't start until tomorrow

12:03 pm

Gluten free turkey?

12:04 pm

well, my mom always added flour to the roasting bag, so I can't assume the grocery store doesn't do that

12:05 pm

I will try to get a small oven roasted already cooked breast but couldn't find one last night. about to head out to walmart this afternoon, so prayers please 🤣

12:07 pm

good luck...

12:08 pm

potatoes are your friend, hokie

12:11 pm

FW for me. See you all later.

12:11 pm

bye, joy....

12:14 pm

I don't think grocery stores roast their turkeys in bags.

12:24 pm

yeah, potatoes should be fine but I just can't trust anything

12:25 pm

yeah, I have no idea how they do them. the rotisserie ovens?

12:28 pm

stalled at 8....break time....bye all....

12:42 pm

bye pen!

12:50 pm

12:59 pm

hmmm, my eyes are so bad, i'm missing two 6s, A and S lol

12:59 pm

no wonder i couldn't get them

1:00 pm

alright, i got the a6 now one left the S 6

1:04 pm

o wow, i just got that last one

was it an anagram of how I spent most of my days?

1:10 pm

hokie - can you have cornbread? like for stuffing? just curious, it's my favorite.

i never heard of adding flour to the roasting bag.

a short cut to gravy? ( i hate gravy)

2:18 pm

Then why are you making it?

i'm not.

2:37 pm

Oh, you think flour in the bag is a shortcut to gravy. No, that is what the directions say.

i never used a bag to roast turkey.

at one time i used mc cormick bag pot roast. but i now make it from scratch.

2:40 pm

In the bag is from scratch for pot roast, Just a different way to cook it.

i was wondering why it's needed. don't know anything about bag roasting turkey.

i think mc cormick had seasoning. it's been years.

i made my turkey breast from last year two weeks ago for company. bad timing. breast is easier, whole risks dry white meat while dark is cooked to done.

i remember my grandfather getting 27 lb turkeys...we now roast two, one inside and one on the grill.

fireworks - whoop

anyone need a clue

3:45 pm

hello everyone - back for the last 6

3:48 pm

Have to say I've never heard of roasting a turkey in a bag -- what is the bag made of?

3:51 pm

guess you've all left

3:52 pm

There are all kinds of cooking bags, made of heat resistant plastic.

3:53 pm

The ones for the crock pot are great.

rbud, to answer your question, have to make my own stuffing (we call it dressing) with gluten free stuff. cornbread in theory should be GF but a lot of cornmeal and cornbread mixes have flour mixed in. and dressing/stuffing is my favorite too.

agree the crock pot bags are great.

and nan, if you check back in, here's everything you ever wanted to know about oven bags. They say to put the flour in to keep the bag from bursting. https://tinyurl.com/4847cwwx

also, Molly...I ordered this mean from the grocery store last Thanksgiving so my mom wouldn't think she had to cook one, and I am 95% positive the turkey was still in an oven bag when we got it, so I do believe they use them.

5:37 pm

The bag could have been freshness packaging.

*meal. not wearing my glasses right now.

it looked like a Reynolds bag IIRC

6:07 pm
