I've been thinking about getting a small tree. I haven't had one for years and years.
we don't have one yet this year. not sure if it will happen.
we have 3 trees up but still have boxes in the dining room and haven't put anything at all outside. I even still have my fall garden flag out there.
three trees? isn't that a bit much?

No outdoor decorating around here today. It's been pouring rain since dawn. I put my lights up yesterday.

we have a real main tree, a smaller fake tree with all hokie decorations (used to have an orange one but had to replace), and a smaller tree with ornaments from our travels.
I like my trees outside working and creating oxygen

well, my one real one is from a tree farm, where they have all stages of trees and replace with new ones when they cut down those ready for the season
we have a buttload of tree farms around here
I always wondered why people couldn't get by with a live tree (smaller) and then plant it after the holiday. I guess I'm old guard environmentally..
I don't think they've sold those since I was a very little kid

I think if I had to have a tree that's the route I'd go. I don't do any xmas decorating and stuff. I'm just not into it. I like it that many people are though.

This is the 2nd year I haven't put one up, but the first year I haven't decorated at all other than outside lights and a couple of wreaths. I just can't manhandle that 7 ft. tree and garlands around the doors any more.
