there are many folks I miss seeing, I have to say. but there were a few I hope I never see again, haha!

sure I miss hego, zooz, judi, volleymomdee,and others.. but the chat is ever changing and it doesn't have to be endless clue giving and once a subject is brought up people contribute to the chat.
wait are you for or against the last part of your comment (about bringing up a subject and folks contributing) - I'm not clear if you feel it doesn't have to be that way or if that's a whole different thought.
there are discussions here.. it just takes someone to bring it up. I am saying the chat is more or less normal to me. At least it's not filled with a bunch of nonsense.
I'm for discussions ...even politics (which seems to ruffle some feathers) as long as people allow another line of thinking and don't berate a player for their political beliefs... but many people here are wise and give wise advice from life experience.
yes, I enjoy the discussions, too. But a little nonsense is fun as well, like long stretches of laundry puns, haha - sort of delightful to me. I do miss working with others to figure out words - if it were up to me, the list show up too soon. I wish it wouldn't pop up until a few hours in, I feel it's more fun to suss it out as a group.

when I first started, I was amazed at how quick some folks were, and how easy it seemed for a few. Some great minds. I miss that, and it's one reason I avoid going to the "cheat sheet" as long as possble.

I can hardly believe I've been at this for 15 years myself! I used to be so anal about it, tried to finish each and every one for a while. Much more relaxed these days.
It is ruru but I stopped playing for a while as I lost the key I had to load it onto my new laptop .. only recently found it so could reload it ..
I agree with Ru about discussions and actual "chat". Chat of late is endless cluing and "I have this many".

I didn't know Dee was gone - I've been friends with her on FB for ages, missed it somehow. She was one of the ones I always admired for her quick ability to find the words!
