braised rabbit with polenta is our regular sunday lunch where I'm from and the youngest kid in the family gets to eat the kidneys as a treat. I was the youngest for a long long time mwahaha

yeah, rabbits raised for meat are HUGE and pretty mean

I knew it wasn't popular here in the US (though I still buy it sometimes) but I didn't realize that Italy was the outlier
I'd guess farming rabbits would be a hare-raising experience
