it's a great grid this flip.had a ball....or two.... lol
traffic to Tim's was hellish yesterday. In stead of 75 minutes it took us more than 3 and a half hours to get there, and 2 and a half back. My body refuses any kind of service today. But Tim was happy so worth it.

I got rid of my weedy front yard and got pavers! It's so pretty! Now to get a landscaper in here to fix the plants that had to be moved. It will be so nice in winter to not have mud right in front of the front door!

yeah, good help is great, but does not make up for it. We have been working on our tiny house for years now, and just had to give up the whole dream when we found out Rob has heart problems. He is no longer allowed to do heavy work. But I told him, I'd rather have you without a tiny house, than the other way around.
I'm sorry to hear that. But having him around is definitely the best choice!! I hope whatever treatment he is getting is helping. Today my neighbor gave me some fresh cherries and a dozen fresh eggs. Two days ago it was broccoli. I'm blessed with a lot of good people in my life.
I always find that when you can be grateful for all the good things in your life, it really helps with the tough stuff. Rob will get some more tests this week, and after that the cardiologist will decide on treatment
It helps my outlook on life. I wish Rob the best with what he is facing. That's scary stuff. I hope he can get the best treatment. Medical treatment is different in different countries. It's a mess here in the US. I'm so happy Rose is able to get the treatment she needs.
yes me too. I think we are blessed here in the netherlands, good medical care here and good insurance cover.

problems with soleus muscle in the calf....in PT....that was finally getting better and now my patella in the other leg is off it's rails...will be seeing orthopedist and doing more PT...
we play at 2pm in the winter and she just moved it back to 10am in the last month. the clay courts do this freeze/thaw cycle where they are not playable a lot of winter mornings.
probably overcompensating with the other leg led to the knee problem. been there.

we have a lot of part timers back for the summer so our courts are getting very full. waitlist every week and of course I never get signed up in time. had to play hard court last week.
only played on clay when I was a kid...pickleballers are taking over some of our outdoor and indoor courts here....
I would love to play pickleball and tennis but find it hard to switch back and forth.
and our summer people (and locals who winter in the south) are coming back...also makes it harder to get courts in the summer...
i have played pickleball a few times....it was fun, but don't like it as much as tennis....more strategy in doubles tennis at least at my level of pickleball....
we stumbled onto a pro tourney at hilton head once - they definitely have strategy at that level.
yes...i have watched some pickleball on tv....but most of the people who play around here play a pretty tame game...
I have played in the club championships here and there are definitely some people that take it seriously
