mi4
Ty will try all.
Just got it but never hgeard of it before.
Ty
mkg.. peri clued it right below your post...do you not look at the chat?
It's a good idea to look over the chat BEFORE asking for clues
hmm, guesses on the 4th s 2nd row, 1st col?
to be a bit coy and cynical sm5
have been trying all kinds of sm words but that is it. will keep trying, thanks.
usually has a y at the end of it
aha, found it
and yes, that would've helped if anyone else needs it
I don't like to give it all away in one clue hokie.. can't make it toooooo easy
I know, that's fine
how's it going there? I have 25 left and finding it quite difficult at this point.
I'm struggling with the s's actually.. although almost done
I just need one from the middle S and one from the bottom S, but have 5 Q and 5 A left.
'morning, folks
welki!
omg found my last s.. jeez I"m blind
hi welks
ooh, what was it?
golfing today - i started a high handicapped group for folks like me, who like to play, but are fairly terrible at the game. thought i'd only have four or five join, but as of now there are 17 signed up with 4 more joining next week
i'm missing an s, too
nice! I started playing in march and have ladies telling me to join all the time but just playing with mr. homie for now. did a clinic yesterday.
i played with the ladies league a few times - too hoity toity for me, subtle eye-rolling when they say, 'ohhh, good shot' lol
anyone want to guess my 2 i's from the bottom?
apparently there is a less serious group that only plays 9 holes. that seems more up my alley.
i tell these folks, if you have a good sense of humor, you really don't even need to bring your clubs - you can just kick the ball down the fairway
yeah, we only play nine holes, best ball - if you want to continue on, you can, but most of us end up at the clubhouse after nine
I am not coordinated for golf.. It is certainly not my sport
I think I'm doing okay for just starting but I haven't really seen a lot to compare to.
i don't collect any money, there are no proximity awards - just fun - i'm sensitive to some players' financial situations, so we double up in carts (so some don't have to pay to rent) and club house is completely optional and okay to just have a soda or coffee
but I grew up playing softball and have been doing tennis on and off for the last 20 years, so I think that helps a bit on the coordination.
oh ru, you've seen me - coordination is not my strong suit either
hokie - just have fun, don't keep score and try not to overthink
heh - i play best if there's music in the background, specifically the group, midland - helps with rhythm and tempo
yep. I mentally struggle to keep my score anyway, so I usually try to just for practice but mr. homie always tells me to stop. but if I have to for real some day I'm screwed.
yeah, our carts have bluetooth you can connect to so I usually play music.
the problem with keeping score is that you start focusing on how many times you've hit the ball, instead of how you hit the ball
or, if you're like me, if you hit the ball :D
I need to just get one of those counters and click it every time but not look at what it's saying
I have definitely whiffed on a few
my problem is hitting the top of the ball
you have to have a +30 handicap to play in this group, but i have low handicap people asking to play, which would negate the whole idea of it - it's for folks who are intimidated to play with good, competitive golfers
i make those counters out of beads - very easy to do
(and be kind to yourself - double par or 8 max)
what is the beginning handicap?
yeah, I do that a lot, just pick up the ball and go back to the cart
max handicap here is 54, if that's what you mean. in order to establish a handicap, you have to play (i think) six rounds
yeah, I think if I play in organized groups I'll have to enter my scores
found that s - sh 7/32
that's my missing one!
is this a real word?
that's how it works here; if you want to play in leagues, or if you're a member, you're supposed to join golf canada and enter your scores
no, it's not - let me know if you want a clue
yes please
take a ride at the carnival on a sh7 wheel
lol, thanks. was on the right track.
16 now. 1-4-3-3-4-1 interesting, did not expect a palindrome.
EE M RR QQQQQ AA ii T S
i'm done and need to start getting ready - it's like herding cats and, with this many people playing, i need to ... take a tranquilizer ... i mean get organized
ha, have fun
have a good day, everyone
Thanks, welki. Never would have got that one.
bea!
Hello, carla
let me know when you finish the A and what I'm missing ;P
well, decided to list. have to say I might use my T in convo but didn't think it was acceptable english.
Do you have the ai7/8?

definitely would not have tried that and needed the list to get it, thanks
