btw, has anyone else ever had a problem exchanging a pair of slippers/socks because they have removed the labels? we had all the labels and the receipt, and Don had to threaten court action to get them to exchange them.
I think that is pretty normal here, you need to keep the labels on if you want to exchange an item.
but they were saying because we had removed the labels that they would not exchange them. EVEN when we presented the items with the labels, but not attached. and nowhere is there a notification that if the labels are removed no exchange will be given.
as I said, that is the norm here. You can only exchange with the labels on.
and i have just read Australian laws regarding exchanging. the only way we can be refused an exchange is if we have misused an item. nothing about labels being left in situ.
besides, the way they had put the labels on you could not properly see the whole item.

back in Charlotte I had a peach tree and only had one peach ever get to almost picking stage because of the squirrels.

I am sitting outside and this wasp keeps hanging around. Saw it last night too. Grabbed a throw pillow to swat it away and discovered a mud dauber nest on the throw pillow.

I just read they are unlikely to sting you, but maybe they change their mind if you are taking down their nest.

I normally leave them alone. But last year had to call a pest company to get rid of one above my front door because they attacked the mail carrier and he wouldn't bring my mail any more.
anybody got any suggestions about removing poison ivy safely? we have some in our pachysandra bed and left it last year and now it's big and starting to climb a maple tree.
Around here it would be mud wasps, not daubers.
I'm not sure what a mud dauber is but this is a small mud nest in the corner above my door. I know they're benificial, but i don't want to be stung either.
there's lots of other places they can build a nest besides my front door... it's just rude :D

i didn't know from the word glyphosat, it was once hokie said it was Roundup that i thought that was toxic.
I haven't used in in several years. I use 20% vinegar. Glyphosate has been involved on law suits.

They people who got cancer from Roundup are the fieldworkers that used large quantities in large areas. They didn't follow the safety guidelines to use it properly.
