I think it's similar to tennis and squash, but with paddles more like pickleball but a faster ball than the pickleball.

i just read some stuff and paddle tennis is slightly different than padel....
I never could get into any sports classes. tried tennis, bowling, maybe one other that I can't recall.
I'm not good with sports classes either, though have played a bunch of sports
i had to take PE for a few years in college....tennis was always full....took golf, basketball, fencing, field hockey, golf, and tumbling....those are the ones I remember....
i really liked fencing....
everything was full. I tried to force-add bowling but no go. can't rem. if that was freshman or soph year and they pretty much only allowed force-adds for seniors.

one of the placement places I worked with in NYC that first time tried to basically blackmail me, and I waited until after hours and left them a "go screw yourself" message

So they had me interview for the back-office of one company and I ended up not wanting to take it...then another agency actually got me an interview with a different part of the org
the first agency then claimed that they introduced me to that company, so that I had to go through them
and threatened all sorts of nastiness
I basically told the guy, look, I didn't go to school to be a secretary, so I will just wait until you can actually find something accounting related. I finally got a long-term temp job at a food company and then they were mad when I got a real job somewhere else. "We thought you were a long-term temp". Does that mean forever? I thought it was temporary. Like I'm a recent college grad not looking for a real job?

As it was, I had already verbally accepted a different job with Goldman Sachs through them, but Goldman had like a 4 week background check process. I ended up doing another interview after that with this other company and they said "do you want to start tomorrow?" and so it appealed to me more...and I ended up taking it
There ended up being a bit of a bidding war, which was crazy, but in the end it all worked out

I think they are getting tougher -- so many unusual words and spellings accepted now that I can't be bothered to finish half the time. There are words accepted here that aren't in any of the other word games I play

but "accepted now" is not really accurate. I know Dr. God started this game with a scrabble dictionary but switched it to enable within the first year. so this is the same word list (with the exception of added spam and I believe stent) as from almost the very beginning.
